jisoo has been preparing for this night, preparing to get her heart broken

she has been noticing her lovely boyfriend of 3 years slowly drifting away from their perfect relationship.

the confused girl went to the balcony from her small but comfy bedroom, sure , she doesn't have the luxurious apartment but one thing that she has for sure is her sincerely kind love for everything and everyone.

gazing the view of the busy streets in seoul,jisoo remembered that her boyfriend is coming over to retrieve some of his clothes for his trip with his friends

"you're going to talk to him about this, jisoo. you're curious and confused, it won't hurt if you ask right?" she says to herself while stressingly pulling her hair back, jisoo definitely had enough with her boyfriend's coldness

he used to drop by jisoo's apartment and shower her with kisses before he goes to work but as the time goes by, he rarely visits jisoo and always replies late to her messages

jisoo was lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear the door opening,she immediately stood up and went inside to the living room

"yoongi-ah?"

"did you take out my clothes already?" yoongi asked, taking out his phone and not looking at the girl's eyes

"i-i want to talk to you about something" jisoo stuttered, trying her hardest not to look like she's gonna burst out her tears

"well, we can talk about that next time. i need my clothes so i can go" he remarked with an expressionless face, still engaging with his phone

what's going on with him?

"god damn it! listen to me for once!" jisoo unintentionally snapped, making yoongi surprised at the sudden loudness

this was then he finally realized, to pay attention to the furious girl as he stared at her fuming eyes

"you know, i've been noticing you getting all cold. so, i'm gonna ask you straight. do you still l-love me, yoongi?" she asked her soon to be ex-boyfriend

she watched his reaction, waiting to hear the truth

"what are you even saying, jisoo?" are you on your period or something? i came here for my clothes not for your stupid questions." he stated, looking straight into her sorrow eyes

"answer my stupid question then! i'm done feeling like i'm not important to you! before, you used to show me how much you care for me but now you barely even show up! what happened to you, yoongi? what happened to us?" jisoo uttered, letting a tear escape from her sight

"jisoo, you do know that i have work and i can't just always be by your side when i have to finish important songs. look, i'm sorry if i didn't give the affection you needed" yoongi responded, reaching for her dainty palms

"stop using your work as an excuse! a simple 'i love you' message takes a second to be sent and yet you still can't. if you really cared for me, you would understand me," she moved her hands away from him

i can't look at you the same way anymore.

"we should just break up, yoongi" jisoo mumbled while smiling melancholy at the precious male

"w-what?" he uttered, surprised at what jisoo has said

"i already know that you don't feel the same way as you used to but before we separate our paths, can i lastly hear your answer to my stupid question?" she mumbles as she stroke his jaw one last time

"i'm really sorry, jisoo"
