Justin and Tiffanys hidden story...1 year on

Chapter 5 - unpacking

Tiffanys POV
Yesterday we had moved in. We still had everything to unpack yet but we would have to get it done before our family come over to visit later. They wanted to see the house as well as talk. I needed some rest from yesterday but i wouldn't get it until later on today. I was looking forward for it to be a normal house with everything in place.

It was 9 in the morning which was too late for me. I got out of bed, dragging Justin out with me. The bed was the only thing that we managed to sort out. I had put the sheets on, duvet covers and pillow covers just before we went to bed last night. At Least we had one less thing to sort out.

"Come on Justin, we need to unpack" I echoed at him, dragging him out of bed.
"Just 5 more minutes" He moaned, trying to get back in the bed.
"Nope, your helping me unpack." I laughed at him as i let go of him, making him moan.

I walked down stairs in my pink and purple spotted pyjamas while Justin had a shower. I would rather start unpacking now then waiting for Justin to finish in the bathroom. I opened the nearest box to me which had the words Kitchen wrote ontop of it. Mum had given us some of her kitchen equipment while i bought some extra bits like knifes, forks, spoons and a microwave.

I took out the kettle and walked over to the kitchen, placing it on the white marble surface next to the wall. It didnt take long to unpack the kitchen stuff, it took me the time it took for Justin to have a shower and get dressed. Once he came down, we was shocked that i had the kitchen set up. I had put the microwave next to the sink and the toaster on the other side. The kitchen wasn't big but it was big enough for me and Justin. I put plates and bowls in the cupboard underneath the kettle and the cutlery in the draw above the cupboard. Mugs and cups were above the microwave and i added some food to the fridge. It looked homely.

Justin's POV
Once i had gotten ready, i walked down stairs to see how Tiffany was doing. I was shocked actually, she had unpacked all the kitchen stuff and set it up how she liked it. I liked it too but we just needed to paint the walls. The walls were a white colour but i wanted them to stand out over the silver appliances. Maybe a light blue or purple. I let Tiffany get ready while i unpacked the living room and the bedroom box.

A couple of hours later the house looked amazing. I had put picture frames on the fireplace shelf and put up a few vases. I placed a wooden cabinet against a plain wall opposite the black sofa and hung some plain curtains up. Later, i would buy a tv and place it above the cabinet on the wall but in the mean time we would have to put up with it. We did have a tv in our bedroom but it was small. Tiffany had helped me with the bedroom or shall i say taking over. Why do girls always want to take over and have it their way.

In the bedroom, we had the bed in the middle while we placed a bed side table either side of the bed. There was pictures, a wardrobe, drawers and curtains. Next week we would be decorating the house, painting and buying some extra bits.
