Someone I know has died today,
They say his body was weak, his mind did fray,
Oh the number of people who had come to pray,
For the someone I know how has died today.
He was a giant of a man, no arguments, not a one,
In his life he had loads of fun,
from playing games to raising his son,
If his life were a sandwich, you’d need a bigger bun.
Ah but who is this mysterious man?
I’ll push through these people and look closer if i can,
But I cannot, is he a superstar, I’m treated like a fan,
Now to see his face, for now I have a plan.
I’ll go outside and climb this tree,
It’s close enough to the window, but not so close they’d see
I lean in, his face comes to focus, who could it be?
I gasp and fall out of the tree, the man was me.
