(Hey everyone before this chapter starts I am going to be changing the pov to third person! You will still be able to hear what each of the characters is thinking but I wanted to change how I wrote it to make it easier for myself! Also I noticed that my Tense changed a lot so I also am going to try and fix that as well! Also I will make it so that half of the chapter is Kirishima POV and the other is Bakugos POV. Thank you for waiting!)

Bakugo P.O.V

Bakugo had barley even heard Kirishima's call for him to slow down before he was halfway up the building. His blood was pumping as he dashed up stairwell after stairwell his nose guiding him to where the dummies were that they were tasked to save. "First floor. Clear. Second floor. Clear. Third floor. Gotcha..." He thought as he caught whiff of a sent. Grinning like a mad man he used his hand to brace himself as he darted towards the smell. Glancing out the windows that lines the office building he saw the clock that was slowly counting down before the building would be completely collapsed. Three minutes, He scoffed not even a challenge.

His eyes darted around the room and eventually settled on a limp training dummy that was wearing a shabby suit that smelled heavily of cologne. His nose wrinkled up some as he picked it up buy the waist with one hand. Kirishima would have to hurry up if he wanted to win. Unfortunately just as he had begun celebrating his victory, the dummy limply flopping as he moved around, he heard passing footsteps as he saw a flash of red pass the doorway to the stairwell. "That son of a bitch..." He muttered under his breath. A new wave of intense adrenaline hit him as he ran back down the stairs and outside of the building dropping the dummy rather roughly off a ways away from the now swaying building.

Just as he was running back in Kirishima passed him with two dummies slung over his shoulders and a shit eating grin adorning his tan face. "You gotta be better than that S'plodey!" He jeered looking back at him and almost tripping over his own feet for a moment before disappearing out of sight. All Bakugo could do was grunt as he went up the steps once more now going two at a time and so low to the ground he was almost on all fours. He passed a room he knew had a dummy in it. He would let the idiot get that one, he thought, not like it would make a difference for him.

Jumping over a newly formed crack in the floor Bakugo was now on the top floor of the building. There were at least three people up here as far as his nose could tell. Three people that were about to be saved by the best god damn hero they had ever laid eyes on! Sliding over a desk he would scoop up the two bodies before going over to the other one and grabbing the nape of its neck with his mouth. It tasted like rubber and dish soap but as long as he won he didn't care.

One Minute was left on the clock by the time Bakugo got back out to drop the rest of the "Civilians" off outside. The one in his mouth had a deep bite mark on its neck but otherwise a cleanly executed retrieval. Looking up at the clock he grinned. With 40 seconds to spare! "You see that spikey hair? THAT is how you do it!" he gloated turning around and finding Kirishima was still in the building. Scowling he crossed his arms and tapped his foot. Fuck, what the hell was taking him so long...  As milliseconds passed he got increasingly worried. What the hell was wrong with him... since when did the red haired toothpick matter so much to him...

His ear perked up as he heard a grunt and the crushing of what sounded like bone as the top half of the building collapsed and only the bottom part was left. This, this was what sent Bakugos mind into auto pilot. He took off running towards the building his eyes trained on the door. A piece of ceiling was slowly lowering down blocking the door. Bakugo couldn't risk blasting it away since it could make the entire building collapse. Picking up speed he slid under it just as it slammed into the ground behind him. Without even stopping to take a breather he bounded up the stairs and eventually came across Kirishima.

Kirishima P.O.V

Dammit... He had gone back inside to get another dummy when suddenly a huge support beam fell on his legs. He probably could have hardened his body to avoid the current shattered leg he had right now, but he somehow had not heard the beam fall. Gritting his teeth he attempted to harden the leg. He succeeded... But at the cost of a strangled yell coming from his mouth. It hurt like a bitch! Not to mention he still had the problem of the large beam that was still on the leg. Eyes widening for a moment he frantically looked around before he saw the dummy a few inches away, unscathed. He still needed to get that thing out of the building... He obviously wasn't getting out though... Glancing around he grabbed at the doll and managed to get a good grip on its wrist. Grunting Kirishima tugged at the arm and brought the dummy close enough to him that he could get a good grip on it with both arms.

How far up was he? Two stories? That was not that bad of a drop right? Plus Bakugo was probably out there already so if his calculations were incorrect (which they probably were) he could always catch the dummy plummeting to the ground. Angling his torso he managed to sit up enough so that he could get a good shot at the window. Raising the dummy over his head he chucked it out the window glass breaking with a shatter and it disappearing out of sight. He still had a chance to win! Maybe...

Kirishima would harden the entire rest of his body as he braced himself for the impact of being crushed... but it never came. Instead as he felt the floor under him give out and as he fell back first he felt a pair of hands grab him and then a body hug onto him. Then a loud crash and it was darkness. Darkness and a hot breath against his face. slowly he would open his eyes and see Bakugo over him, arms outstretched and holding up the rubble that had been about ready to flatten Kirishima like an Italian pancake.

All he heard was the muffled sound of the timer going off from the outside of the pile and Bakugos labored heaves as he held up at least 300 pounds of building. The fact that he was holding 3x his body weight up was not even the thing that surprised him the most. The thing that Kirishima was most surprised by was the fact that Bakugo had risked himself to protect him. Bakugo! Bakugo Katsuki! The boy who had built a reputation on being a complete and utter badass who didn't give a fuck about anyone but himself. That boy had saved him from a world of pain.

He was speechless as he could only stare at his savior looming above him with wide eyes and a slightly agape mouth. He could see every muscle in Bakugo's large body strain and flex. His already tight shirt looked like it was about to burst. A bead of sweat dripped down his glistening forearm and Kirishima had to catch himself staring. Did his recent changes have anything to do with this?  Maybe...

Kirishima opened his mouth to speak but the words died before coming past his tongue. When he looked back into Bakugo's intense red eyes he saw hints of yellow mixed in. Bakugo's facial expression changed from one of strain to a slightly entranced intense one. Without so much as a tremble he would bend down some looming over Kirishima more the rubble above them shifting. Closer and closer he drew until finally he was inches away from Kirishima's face. His glaring eyes locked on with Kirishimas own. In a trance like state he seemed to crane his neck down and sniff into Kirishima's neck. If this was not unsettling enough he licked the spot he had sniffed moments later. Several shivers went up Kirishima's spine as he froze, eyes wide. This action continued for a few more moments, the licking and even a few playful nips here and there.

Was he imagining things? He must be... He was passed out... the lack of oxygen down here was making him tipsy... or... or... he really was under his long time crush who was currently giving him hickeys. They stayed like that for a while Kirishima repeating "This isn't real" over and over in his head. He could hear Bakugos breathing next to his ear as he felt the pit of his stomach curl in a very familiar way. Lucky for him, and his dignity Bakugo stopped his head snapping away from Kirishima and towards a very faint noise. "Finally those fuckers are here..." Is all Bakugo would say. It was as if nothing had never happend... Kirishima wasn't sure if he was happy about that or disappointing... He didn't have any time to ponder it before a almost blinding light came from above them and a rush of fresh air hit his face.

After they were both helped out of their prison recovery girl would come over and first scold Bakugo before giving him a big wet smooch on his cheek. He didn't seem to be paying attention though because he was staring at Kirishima a blank expression on his face. Kirishima gave a reassuring smile. The only reaction Bakugo gave to that was a slight nod of his head before he yelled at the rest of class-1A, who were crowding around him asking him questions, to back off. After recovery girl tended to him his leg needed to be in a cast for the next few days. When the time came to get it off came Kirishima had already convinced himself that what Bakugo had done was a dream. A dream and nothing more.
