(song: Gas Pedal - I am Su)
It took about a half hour to get to this club in downtown LA called Black Light. I had fun riding with Ashley though; we were rocking out to some music that I had on my iPod. We had been laughing and singing the whole time. We knew all the words to every song that came on; our voices blending into perfect harmony.
"You should ask Andy to sing on a few tracks...it'd make the record amazing!" Ashley grinned at me from the driver's seat. "Seriously; I can see you singing on this track that Andy started working on the other day. Man, your voice'd be perfect!"
I smiled at the brown eyed boy. "I'll talk to him about it...I'd love to sing for your band's record." I unbuckled and got out of his car.
We weren't even inside the brick walls yet, but I could already hear the booming bass of the heavy music floating through the entrance to the club. There was the distinct smell of booze, sex, and desire in the air. I was used to this already, since my band had played in numerous clubs before. It was the typical smell of every club.
We walked up to the bouncer, who let us in without asking any questions. The people in line outside groaned and complained as we were just let in, while they had to wait. "We've played here before," Ashley said in my ear as we advanced into the dim club. "Everyone knows us here."
Jeremy and CC went straight for the bar on the far left, while Andy went to a pretty blonde waitress and kissed her on the mouth. "That's Andy's girlfriend, Juliet," Jake said to me. "This is her day job." He laughed and waved at her. She waved back excitedly and went back to talking to Andy. They looked so happy together.
"How long have they been dating?" I leaned up on my toes so Jake could hear me.
"A little over a year." Jake smiled. "Aren't they the cutest?" He mimicked a girl's tone of voice. He then left me with Ashley to join his two band mates at the bar. CC was already onto his second shot.
"Come on," Ashley nudged my arm and nodded towards the dance floor.
I shook my head a little. "I-I don't dance in front of people..." I backed away from him and into a bigger, burly man. "Oh sorry!"
The man laughed, clearly drunk. "Dun worreh 'bout it!" He took an unopened beer, opened it with the edge of the bar, and thrust it into my hands. "'Ave a drink!"
I nodded in thanks and watched him saunter through the crowd in his drunken stupor and shook my head. I took a swig, feeling that burning sensation as the alcohol slid down my throat and turned back to Ashley, who looked at me expectantly. "Are you coming with me?" He held out his hand.
I looked at his hand carefully and let him lead me to the dance floor.
About three hours and four and a half drinks later, Ashley and I were back on the dance floor, the bass booming and the floor thumping beneath our feet. We were both drunk, but Ashley more than I. A song that I'm not very familiar with came on and girls cheered as they found a partner to dance with. Ashley wandered back over to me and put his hands on my waist, his lips at my ear. "Go with the beat...just let go." He slurred.
I looked at him over my shoulder and smiled. I moved my hips to the beat and let my hands rake over his neck and chest. A girl was twerking on her partner in front of us and, unthinkingly, I started dancing on Ashley. My mind couldn't keep up with my actions, due to the alcohol in my bloodstream. Ashley tightened his hands around my waist and pulled me closer to his warm body. From where I was standing, I could see Andy and Juliet in the corner of the club, making out with beer bottles surrounding them. CC had disappeared into the crowd, which worried me slightly. Jinxx was still at the bar, making conversation with the bartender. He was going to be driving some of us home that night, so he had only had half a beer.
Ashley's hands started to travel up my body; gently squeezing my hips, dragging his hands up my torso, lingering a moment over my breasts before pushing my hair behind my shoulder, exposing the smooth skin of my neck. His lips grazed the area just below my ear and made a path down to my shoulder. The contact made me shiver. I turned myself so that I was face- to- face with Ashley and snaked my arms around his neck. He pulled me closer and connected his lips to my neck again, kissing and biting lightly. I let my head fall against his chest and moaned in his ear. That's what set him off. Ashley murmured something unintelligible in my ear and led me away from the crowd of dancers.
He led me to the bar, tapped Jeremy on the shoulder and muttered in his ear, before taking me outside to his car. He opened the back door and pulled me in so that I was straddling his lap. He pulled the door shut with his foot and crashed his lips into mine; I could taste the booze on his lips.
It was perfect.
Our breaths were coming in more ragged as the seconds went by. I could hardly tell what was happening; my thoughts were sluggish. He gripped my waist as my body grinded against his, making him groan. Ashley's tongue slid across my lower lip, asking for entrance. I opened my mouth enough for his tongue to slip in and explore. Things were starting to get heated, and as they progressed, I started to black out.
The last thing I remembered was Ashley's hands slipping under my shirt in the back of his car, while the dimness of the parking lot provided us the safety of darkness.
When I came out of the blackness in my mind, Ashley had me laid on the soft bed with him hovering over me. There was soft music playing somewhere in the house; it sounded familiar, but I couldn't place the voice with the lyrics. Ashley's lips were grazing the hollow beneath my ear, whispering sweet, drunken nothings. My thoughts were still slightly blurry with alcohol, but I could tell something had happened between us. Something had happened in his car.
