"AND YOU TOTALLY FELL FOR THAT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Just when I thought the old Greyson was here, he vanished as quick as a snake swallowing a rat.
"What?" I spat.
"Did you really think I still love you? HAH. Gotcha." Greyson said. I don't know why but I felt like my whole world shattered.
"I did not!"
"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"

"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did not!"
"You really think I'm gonna fall for that?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Well it works on most people." He shrugged.
"But not on me. Sorry to burst your bubble, mister." *sigh* I miss these kinds of conversations with Greyson.
We just stood there looking at each other. And for a moment there, it was like nothing happened. Greyson didn't become a jerk, I didn't become an emotional wreck, Tanner didn't die, & Logan married Isabelle. Wait okay that last part? Erase it.
There was a tear dying to roll down my cheek but I wouldn't let it.
"I'm gonna be honest with you, Mei. I missed you."
Oh screw bacons. I couldn't hold it any longer so I ran to Greyson and hugged him which he returned.
I felt something wet on my shoulders and realized..... Greyson was crying too. This made me cry harder.
"I know I was a jerk to you. I know I broke your heart. I know you can't stand being with me anymore but..... can we start over? And I'm sorry for everything." He said. Is this for real? You don't know? Me either! Go ask those red velvet cupcakes while we have a moment. Shoo!
No voice was coming out of my mouth so I just nodded. His face lit up like a little boy receiving a new toy car on a Christmas day.
He held out his hand and said, "Hi I'm Greyson and you are?"
I giggled. "You're such a dork."
"Well hello there you're such a dork, nice to meet you!" He grinned.
"I didn't mean it that way!!" I playfully slapped his right arm.
"Hahahaha! Just kidding. Want to get some local food?" He asked.
"And by local you mean Burger King. Yeah sure. Wait. Meet me there, I'll just go and change." I said.
"Sure." With that, I got down the treehouse and ran back to my house with a big smile plastered on my face and pink cheeks.
