Meeting stanley

_set in modern times_ Richie Pov:
'Dear diary, i hate this place I've heard rumours . new town, new school, no friends.  All I have is this stupid diary'

I look around and see someone who looks very familiar "stanley?" I question while looking at the guy, he turns around to look at me "do I know you?" He questioned but I'm confused we are best friends how does he not know me ? "Its me richie, richie toizer" I look at him confused. "I dont think I know you. I'm stanley stanley barber " when he said his last name I felt so stupid  , "oh sorry I thought you were a different stan. " I felt dumb but tried to play it off .  'Dear diary me and this kid have been talking for 30 minuets he seems really cool. And really straight.. am I? No I cant be . I dont have feelings for someone I just met. ' "hey well I got to go maybe see you at school?" He smiled when he said that it made me..smile aswell? How why? I'll figure it out later .  "Yeah " I replied to him calmly and walked away before I make a mom joke.

Stanley's pov: To syd: "so I met this really cool guy yesterday hes knew to town. Hes really nice and funny and kinda stupid but also really smart and weird and alot like me and-" syd looks at me and I shut up I didnt know what' was happening but I knew I'd have to shut up. "Does Stanley have a crush?" When syd said that I got confused. I dont like richie do I? I'm not bi? Am i...? I was confused I am confused what's going on?  "What? No! I just met him syd and I dont think I'm bi." My voice cracked while saying no I'm screwed
