NEW KID? WHY NOW?
New kid. That's all Chan could think about, the new kid. Chan didn't know why but he always felt nervous when a "New Kid" came around, maybe because every time a new kid comes in they see Chan. Once the "New Kid" sees Chan they immediately go after him because he looks the most innocent and nicest once out of the rest here.
Then after a while, they eventually get bored of Chan which hurts the male the most, but he knew why..well, it was because he never talked. The thing is..Chan never liked his voice, no...he hated it actually, he hated the way the stupid accent always took over on certain words to the point where everyone would laugh.
Or even the fact that people wanted to be friends with him because of his so-called "amazing" Aussie accent and really nothing else, just to show him off like some kind of ultimate limited time only toy. That's one reason why Chan never really spoke, there are many more reasons why.
Chan jumped out of his thoughts, immediately turning his attention to his father who was making breakfast for himself and Chan. Sometimes it was really hard for Chan's father, being a single father with a kid who never really socializes with others can be very difficult. "Son, you need to start talking more and make some friends. I know we've talked about this a million times but you need to at least try."
Chan's father was right, he had talked to his son about this a lot but it always seemed that his words would go right through the boy's ears. He gave out a long sigh, handing out a plate of breakfast to Chan before fixing his tie. "I have to head off to work now, be good at school okay? Also at least just try to talk to one person okay?" Chan's father said quickly as he hurriedly made his way out the door.
Chan loved his dad very much, yes his dad can be annoying sometimes but he still loved him. Chan watched his father leave, responding with a small nod before getting up.
He quickly got into his rather small shower that needed some cleaning, sighing he got out the shower after a few hours of just standing there. Chan eventually got dressed into his clothes, always the same color. Just black.
Chan walked outside, the rain immediately hitting his face which made him smile. He always loved the rain, he didn't know why though. Maybe it was because he felt like the rain expressed his own self.
After a long walk, soaked in rain he arrived at the overwhelmingly tall and almost grass covered building. He slowly walked in, immediately noticing someone. A new face.
Chan immediately panicked, the new kid just had arrived. He immediately ran off behind a tree, gripping onto the straps of his book bag as he peeked out from behind the tree.
