Regaining my self composure, I wiped down few tears on my cheeks. I stand up from the chair I sat on and went back to the kitchen. Opening the upper cabinet, I found some flour, sugar, salt and pepper as well as some spices stored in glass container. Feels classy.

Closing the cabinets, I was startled by the small apparition zooming past me. Holy...

Snapping my head behind, there stood a kid at an age of 6-10 years old, looking at me with zero emotions in his clear sky-blue eyes. Wearing a dirty shabby rug like shirt, the face is smeared with dried mud and his hair... is a disaster.

I can tell that this kid just fell into a muddy puddle and haven't washed his hair with clean water. This made me thinking, is clean water really hard to find?

Realising the situation, she rushed to the bathroom and is relieved since the bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and pumped shower.

It looks extravagant with all the details with separate shower enclosed with translucent glass and the bathtub was facing the lush's green trees outside.

The window is decorated with simple yet elegant grey leaves pattern printed on a silky white curtain.

Seeing how completed the place is, June just went straight to the bathtub and fill the tub with water.

Afterwards, she pump down some liquid soap on the rack and stop the running water.

She went back to the kitchen to find the little boy and found no one there. She searched the whole house for him

She read his file before returning back to the house. She read that some uneasy situation his former mother had done to him. Despite I am a different person, the kid still infers me to as his former mother, appearance wise.

Searching the whole house down, June decided to search outside.

She opened the door and continue searching in the dark with a torchlight.

'I need to request for outer light to be installed. This place is too dark, I'm afraid it is hard to find him.'

Lastly, June decided to find the boy in the small shed near the house.

She opened the shed and entered to find the boy sleeping in the rotted corner of the wall.

"Oh my god"

'Is this where he always sleeps? What a cruelty the mother did. That is her own blood and flesh.' She thought to herself.

There's nothing she can do, blame the mother? Shame her in her death? None. She cannot atone for herself, any longer.

After lamenting the boy's fate, she decided to approach the poor little young'un.

June sit in front of him, caressing his small face, gazing deeply in sympathy.

After a while, a pair of sky-blue pearls reciprocate the same act, but in pure surprise instead of pity.

He was surprised seeing the person in front of himself. The rare figure of his mom is gazing at him with an unfamiliar gesture.

He can see the deepness of her eyes, overflowing with endearment instead of dark void feeling, he always felt before.
