The words of an introvert

The time you left me ⏳

I knew at the time you left me,
that you never loved me.
Because the way you moved away,
told me what you must have felt that day.

But now I know how was I fooled by you,
it was all fake I never had the clue.
& now when I look back
I realize
Why i was never 'me' when i was by your side.

But then,
Maybe I knew
That you were never mine,
why was I hiding my true self at that time ?
When you smiled but not with your eyes
I mind realized something but my heart denied.
