Leilani's POV
"Leilani"I heard Dave saying from behind me.
Right now I don't even want to talk.I guess you can say I'm kinda pissed off that he made me still get my child DNA test even when he saw she looked just like him.
"Lani.....LANI!",Dave shouted.
"Yea David",I spat.
"Let me talk to you.......look I know that kids mine....ain't no doubt she mine,I want to be there for my kid shorty."
"Dave ain't nobody stopping you from being there for her but if you want to meet her,then be at my house for no later than 6:00pm tonight,I'll text you my address."and with that I walked away to my car and headed home.

It's 5:45pm so Dave should be here any minute now.I don't really know how to feel at the moment.Don't get me wrong I'm excited my baby gets to me her dad but it's kinda nerve-wrecking.
When Kiari was smaller I used to show her shit like pictures and videos of her dad just hoping he would call or text to see her or know of her.But I gave up I stop showing her him when a reality set in that I was gonna be a single mother.
Drowned in my thoughts I hear a motherfucker banging on my fucking door like the cops.
"Who is it"I yell.
"Yah fav baby daddy!"
I rolled my eyes and smacked my lips before opening the door.
"FIRST..BEFORE YOUR LANKY BIG FOOT ASS COME IN MY HOW TAKE YOU DAMN SHOES OFF.....SECONDLY WHAT IN THE DEVILS DICK POSSESSED YOU TO BANG ON MY DOOR LIKE YOU OWN THIS BITCH..AND THIRD BITCH YOU MY ONLY BABY DADDY TF"I yelled at him.
"Damn my bad shorty you don't gotta yell,I'm right here.And you go stop talking to my like I'm Kiari before I shove my bean pole down in that wide ass mouth of yours."Dave said while grinning.
You know what ima just walk away before I lose the God in me.
"That's what I thought"he mumbled
"Fuck you...but you can make yourself comfortable while I go get Kiari."
Soon as I said KIARI a wave of nervousness washed over his face.
"Dave you are gonna be just fine."I reassured him before walking up the stairs.
When I came back down this Kiari ,I saw this big motherfucker really made his self comfortable.I laid out on the couch with his feet kicked up ,eating my mf Oreos.
It's 2 things ion like...being woke up and somebody touching my Oreos.
"David what ever the hell yo middle name is hunch back Brewster ,ima trynna be calm cause Kiari is right here but you got 0.03 milliseconds to put my got damn Oreos down or you will be a dead motherfucker."I said a little too calmly for Dave.
When he saw the seriousness on my face he put them down immediately not before taking another one stuffing it in his mouth.GREEDY BITCH!I went to sit next to him with Kiari on my lap.
"Ok"I clapped
"Kiari this my baby daddy David"I said look at her while she just giggle.David just smacked his lips.
"Nah I'm playing but baby this is you daddy."I said signaling between her and Dave
"Mommy him my daddy?"she said with a very curious face.
"Yeah boo and David this is my...I mean our daughter Kia-"
"Kiari Chanel Brewster"Kairi said cutting me off.
"Well excuse tf outta me"I thought.
Dave sat there for a second and just stared.

"Mommy him don't talk or something?Whats wrong with him?"Kiari asked staring back at Dave
"Girl I think we broke him"I said laughing with Kiari.
Kiari looked at him a bit longer before getting off my lap and climbing into Dave's lap.He didn't know what to do,so he just hugged her.
"Daddy you have to talk to me and mommy.I can't read minds."Kiari said rolled her eyes causing me to giggle.
"I'm missing my show just to sit in the quiet?Really mommy?"she folded her arms mugging me making Dave laugh.
"Girl that's him we waiting on his big bird ass to talk."I said while laughing.This lil girl so sassy.
"I had so collect my thoughts,so don't be talking bout me to my child with yo bald head ass."He said causing Kiari to snicker.
"Hey baby"he said to Kiari.
"Hi Dada"she said cheesing.
I just sat there low key feeling left out cause she was having a whole conversation with Dave for about 30 minutes and didn't even acknowledge once.
They were in Kiari's room now and I overhear their conversation on how they go persuade me to let dave stay the night.The fact dave listening to Kiari plan that made absolutely no sense.
I just went in the kitchen to start on dinner.No more then 20 minutes later Dave walked in the kitchen with Kiari in his shoulders and they both were pouting.
I rolled my eyes at the sight of them before speaking
"Yes dave you can stay,no Kiari you can not stay home from school tomorrow,and yes we can have fun day with daddy tomorrow AFTER you get home from school."I stated looking at them while their faces held a shocked yet caught expression.More so dave then Kiari.Kiari was so excited smiling from ear to ear.
