LEILANI POV
Today I supposed to be having lunch with Jania before I got to Dave's moms house for the pool party.I called her to talk because lately she been acting weird as hell and I'm not fucking with it.
AT THE RESTAURANT....
"Hey!",I heard causing me to look up and see it was Jania.
"Hi, how are you?",I said giving her a hug.
"Im good,but what you call me here for,cause I low key got stuff to do?"she said.
Do this bitch got an attitude or is it me?I thought.
"Uhmmm.....well I called you to see what your problem has been lately.I don't know ever since I called things off with you,you have been acting real shady and I don't like it!",I explained to her.
"I don't think I been acting any kind of way.I do think you have been acting funny though.All of a sudden Dave comes in the picture you switched up and ION LIKE IT EITHER!",she said.
"Jania calm down first of all.Secondly,every night I sit in my bed and think about the shit I have done.I honestly regret ever going that route with you.You should've stayed my best friend from jump.But,at the time I was gullible,confused,shit you name it!I realized that I was doing immature teenager shit when I am a mother,a business owner,and an example to other people.I just need to grow up and I know I should have been grew up when I became a mother but that shit with Dave fucked my head up!I am an adult therefore I should act like one.Now if you would excuse me ,I have family business to tend to."
And with that I walked away leaving Jania in her thoughts.
AT DAVES MOM HOUSE.......
I told dave earlier that I would meet him here after meeting with Jania.
I get out my car and knock on the door waiting for an answer.Ok so right now I'm kind of nervous because I have talked to Dave's mom over the phone but not in person.The time I was suppose to meet her in person,it just didn't go as planned.
I heard the locks turn making my heart rate speed up.
When the door opened it reveal a beautiful lightskin older women,who somewhat resembles Dave.
"Hi I'm Leilani Micheals Dave's girlfriend and Kiari's mom."I said with a smile before sticking my hand out for her to shake.
She smile at me and pushed my hand away before pulling me in for a hug.
"Hi baby I'm Sheila Dave's mom ,but you can call me ma or momma love."She said in a comforting way.
"Nice to meet you Ms.Sheila"I said.
"Lovely to meet you too baby.Kiari and Dave are our back you can join them and I'm sure the rest of the family will introduce themselves to you.But don't leave today without getting my number because we need to have a girls talk."She said with a wink.

•Sometime next week my laptop supposed to be coming so the book will get more chapters produced and it will start to get edited!
