9. Surprising Actions

Waking up in the morning, I even managed to stun myself at how early it was. Impatient to get downstairs, I bathed and dressed even before the maids came to wake me. The only thought on my mind was that I need to see her.

Dressed in a pair of cream coloured pants, I tucked in a turquoise shirt into the waistline. Buttoning my shirt, I then rolled the sleeves up to my elbows. Grabbing a cream coloured vest, I pull that on over top of the silk shirt that matches my eyes perfectly. Then to finish the outfit off, I grab my brown expensive boots pulling them up having them cover my pants slightly.

Walking to stand before the mirror, my hand grabs the hairbrush and I run it through my brown locks of hair. Unlike at the balls where I gel it back into place. I decided to leave it loose today, and natural. Being a Prince, means I am to still dress like a Prince even on days when there are no balls. Luckily I don't have to dress up as much though. Tonight there is to be another party however. Well this one is more of a dinner party of sorts. But she will be there, so I am actually looking forward to it.

Happy with my appearance, I flash a dazzling smile at the mirror. "Yah, I look handsome for her. For my Lady, my beautiful Lady Levina."

Just speaking her name made my heart race. I need to get to know her better, hell I already told her I want to mate with her. She is a Beta. I can make her my Princess, then one day my Queen. I can't explain it, there is just something about her that draws me in. This is a first for me, she is the first girl to cause such a sensation within me.

Shaking my head of these thoughts I leave my room, pushing my way past the two maids who wake me each morning. I hear their footsteps stop as they look back to me, blinking in confusion.

"Your Highness!" The shock was clearly evident in their voice, as I ignored them and made my way down the corridors to the banquet hall.

Entering the room I see no sign of her yet, making me growl out annoyed. Noblemen and ladies sit at the huge long table as food is delivered to them. The minute I enter however, the room grows quiet. My father the King, even looks shocked to see me at such an early hour in the morning. Greeting the guests with a small "Good Morning." I walk and sit beside my father.

"Well aren't you up early." He speaks as he ate at his meal.

Shrugging my eyes remain on the door. "I felt no need to sleep in today. Father, I am going out into the city today."

"Oh is that so?" I glance to my father and he is eyeing me curiously. "And what brought this new urge on? You hate leaving the palace to mingle with the commoners."

A deep laugh escapes my lips. "I know, but I plan to show off our city to someone special."

A light almost shines in my father's eyes hearing my words. "Someone Special? Please say you met a girl."

"I met a girl at last night's ball. Father she is perfect, she is beautiful. She makes me, well it's hard to explain but she makes my Alpha..."

"You wish to make her your mate?" My father shows curiosity towards me. "Never once has a girl done this to you my son. I was worried for a while this would not happen. I feared you may lean towards males, and this of course could not be allowed as the future King."

Hearing his words I scoff giving him a look. "Father never once has a male captured my attention. No one has, but her."

My father nods his head pleased with my answer. "She is of royal blood?"

I shook my head, causing my brown bangs to fall before my eyes slightly. "Not of royal, but of noble blood. We met her three cousins two nights ago. The ones descended from the Noble lord William Church of Sina."
