-Recap-
"Why weren't you at the gate before when you said you wanted to meet me after school? I want the truth this time."
"Alright Yukina," He said,
"I'll tell you"
-Now-
My eyes widened at his response. I didn't think he would be so calm to tell me something I literally forced him to say. Normally, someone would be quite hesitant to tell someone what they're hiding from them but not in this case. He seemed so...relaxed about it that it almost didn't feel right of him telling me, "R-really? Are you sure?" I asked,
"Yeah, of course I am. Why else would I have said that I would tell you?" I relaxed a bit then answered, "No, just cuz you sound way too happy and calm about it. As if it doesn't really matter that I'm forcing something out of you." I said feeling a tiny bit guilty. I looked down to the side, trying to avoid eye contact with him. Haru is just too nice for comfort, which is bad cuz if he's sad and says he's fine when he isn't, just so that I don't worry too much, I just want to give him a big hug for at least a minute and tell him that it's alright to let out your feelings that you're keeping caged in. I heard Haru coming closer to my bed and he sat down turning his back to face me. He then pats my head as if I was a child and (once again) placed my forehead against his. Our noses were touching and we were awfully close, way more close than how me and Reo were. I felt him breathing on me which made me blush, "H-Haru, what are you doing?" I asked while stuttering. He smiled to himself, keeping his eyes shut the entire time, "I'm simply showing you that it's alright to be curious at times so no need to worry." I didn't get how what he was doing was showing me that but I don't care. It somehow felt....good.
He brought me away from his head and I quickly looked down and averted my eyes away from him to hide the fact that I was blushing intensely. Haru smirked, "You're blushing Yukina, I never thought that I would see this side of you ;)" His words made me blush even more and I quickly turned my head to him, "N-no I'm not, you're just hallucinating cause you wish that's what happened. Idiot."
"Aww, I'm offended~"
"Shaddup, ya pig."
After that, Haru decided to go back to the main point, "So anyway, Yukina, the reason I wasn't at the gate that time was because Ms. Solara wanted me to stay back so that I can get extra training as a Xyntai ." He said with a straight look, "What's a Xyntai?" I asked, "A Xyntai is a person who has certain abilities to control something. For example, I'm a Weather Xyntai so I can control the any natural disasters, especially lightening. Also we are appointed by the King of Lunar to defend the kingdom. Some of us are sent to Earth as our mission to guard and make sure Scythes don't rip a tear into Earth." Oh, that makes sense,so are the others Xyntais as well?"
"Yeah, Yuna's a Sun Xyntai, Reo's a Gravity Xyntai and Hiroaki's an Electrical Wave Xyntai."
Well, that explains why Hiroaki is always so hot headed towards me. Haru explained a little more about the supernatural world and about the tattoo on my hand which is actually called the Mark of Lunar. Basically, 5 people who were called Lunarians used to protect the King of Lunar and the Xyntais were kind of like their armies with special abilities. Apparently the Grand Master Asteroth himself invaded the kingdom and captured the Lunarians and tortured them before brutally killing them. After that Asteroth took the Lunarians powers before burning their corpses. The entire kingdom went into chaos and each time Asteroth and his goons would invade, over a thousand lives would be lost. Until there was a new king that was able to seal away Asteroth and his Scythes in a place that no mortal can ever find. Which is where it got its name, The Lost. This is all really hard to take in especially the fact that I myself is a Lunarian and somehow one of my relatives passed it down which is most likely one of my parents which is impossible cause all the Lunarians were killed. Well I don't care cause I don't wanna question whether my parents have been hiding something from me for a good 16 years. All this definitely does explain the weird dream that I had before. Since I was better I told Haru that I was going to go home for now. He insisted that he should walk me home but I told him I would be fine.
~time skip~
I get to my front door but as I am about to unlock it I notice that it was already open. That's weird cause I am sure that I locked it the last time I left the house. I slowly open the door and I immediately felt someone else's presence. Was it a burglar? An assassin? A kidnapper? All of these kind of ideas were floating n my head but I didn't have the time and strength to deal with it. I slowly walked to my living room and carefully switched on the light.
To my surprise, the person who I thought was a burglar, an assassin and a kidnapper was actually my...Mum? "Long time no see, darling. Would you mind telling me what on earth is going on and why you have been in a coma for the past few days?" Oh no. "Also I would like to speak to you about something very important." Here comes some very perplexing answers, again.
Oh, crap
