Chapter Nine: A Soul For A Soul

°°° Thrid Person's POV °°°

(y/n) was speechless in how powerful her lover had become, without breaking a sweat he beaten almost everyone in the group Gamora went in with, she hid still as a man named Peter was pointing his weird looking gun on Gamora as she cired, when he press to shoot her his bullets turned into bubbles soon his gun dissolved into bubbles as well. Thanos used his hand to motion (Y/n) to come near him, and the maiden does so, her small feet made her stepped into the open her beauty can be seen perfectly.

She stumbled and hugs his arm as thanos looks at him and said "I like him" before using the space stone to leave with Gamora and her. Now she can see the high walls of the rock mountain that kidna look like a tower she gulps and

Sand

So many land mass of sand

(Y/n) looks around still around Thanos's arm as she looks at him and Gamora they both began to take their journey to find the soul stone, her boots buried under the sands as she held on her golden robes her (hare leght) (hair color) locks danced harshly with the string desert winds as she looks around with Thanos and Gamora for the souls stone's location as she looks up to it...

Why is she here?

The maiden who is  supposed to protect the Southeast continent is out in space with her purple lover and his green adopted daughter as she sighs and saw a person floating as his hood floats on the air Thanos protectively raised his arm while (Y/n) and Gamora are behind him
"Thanos son of A'lars" he spoke as he loosm down on the human maiden, "(Y/n) successor of the Ancient one" he said looking at her as he then lead them to the top of the cliff.

*** (Y/n)'s POV ***

"Where is the soul stone" Thanos asked calmy as I slowly walks to the cliff but a few feet a way from the corners as  look down shivering as I immediately stepped away I didn't hear what thanos and the man with red head (literally) said yet I looked at him as tears began to roll down his eyes

"A soul... For a soul" the man with red skull repeated as my eyes widen someone... Had to die to get the soul stone

"The sacrifice must have a strong bond with you" he also added as I saw Thanos began to approach Gamora while Gamora is yelling and angrily telling his this isn't love

... Yet I felt like...

"Thanos.." I called out as he stopped his tracks and looks at me, I felt tears roll down my cheeks as I force a smile painfully, "P-Promise me... You'll find me again?" I stutter as I have made up my mind Gamora is still too young... And she has a set of friends and family to wiat for her back there

I felt my body shaking but, If this is what Thanos has wanted... And if this will be the case to save the planet... She has to do it...

Shakingly I began walking to the cliff, as I can hear Thanos screaming

"NO NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!! PLEASE STOP WALKING!!" he was in tears I know it... Even without confessing... Even if we are only together for not long... I know we cherished each other

I looked up the skies as the wind slightly blew my hair and gently, "So... This is how... Love works" I turn around and smiles to him painfully tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Thanos... I love you" with that I leaned backwards falling head first with eyes closed, I can hear his screams of agony and pleading of me to stop yet he can't reach me now...

Tears began to fly up the air as I fall down, at least... I found love....

*CRASH!!!*

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" a man's loud deep voice was heard around the cliffs as a bright light has accepted the soul sacrificed to them a flash of bright white light was seen

... Soon Thanos and Gamora... Was found on a shallow pool outside the territory of the cliffs... The glowing soul stone... On Thanos's right hand....
