Oh what a surpise! chapter 2

Early 8am the next morning Greyson emerged from his cardboard home and looked around. Laying not three feet from him was the man and his dog who he had met last night. "Oh what a surprise, totally not weird at all" He looked down at mark before stepping over him out of the alleyway onto the main sidewalk and walked across the street to the gym where he received two muffins and coffee from his friend before returning to the alley where mark was just waking.
"Mornin sleeping beauty nice to see you awake" grey hummed as he sat a few feet back and closer to his box home
Mark sat up rubbing his head "oh heyyy heh i didn't expect to fall asleep, how ya doing kiddo?"
I sat down a muffin and a cup of coffee in front of mark before beginning my own "I'm pretty good got some sleep, woke up to this strange i met yesterday sleeping on my lawn ya know, the usual"
Mark chuckled and rolled his eyes "Real nice of ya to not kick me off your lawn" "maybe I will kick you off my lawn, now eat before the coffee gets cold" grey responded drinking his coffee watching mark look at the food in front of him and begin eating "oh uh thank you grey, where did you get this?"he rose a eyebrow eating the muffin "from a friend across the street, I didn't steal it if that's what your thinking mark"
"Alright alright just checking didnt want to consume stolen goods without knowing ha" grey rolled his eyes and finished his muffin before leaning against the wall and gazing upwards toward the sunrise before closing his eyes and humming a soft tune. Mark watched the young boy curiously, he seemed so laid back and relaxed from someone alone on the street so young. After a moment mark smiled watching him, he planned to help him once he was ready for help but for now he'd take things slow and steady, he was just learning how grey lived.
