Im sorry I've been gone for so long, I don't really have an excuse other than I'm lazy and didn't have any good ideas. I'm back now though!

Reva POV

Once we're downstairs Dom tells me he has to call his manager and talk business so I leave him in the kitchen and decide to go back to my room. On the way there I change my mind and turn down the hall to head back to the music room. In the corner sat a large piano that I hadn't noticed before. I make my way over to it and slide my fingers over the keys. I press down on one and flinch at the loud noise it makes, echoing through the room. Damn these fantastic acoustics. I scrunch up my nose in distaste but press through a few chords, eventually continuing into a song I wrote.

Play song

(A/N: obviously I did not write this song for this book, all credit goes to the artist. I forgot to put this in the previous chapter but again, Mad World belongs to Gary Jules. Any songs I use in this book will most likely be not mine. If otherwise I will say so. Sorry, continue.)

My fingers dance over the keys and when I'm finished I sit back and smile. This is one of the songs I wrote shortly after the incident when I was still so angry. That anger has faded but there are still echoes of it I can feel when playing songs like this.

I'm sitting on my bed messing with my phone when I hear a knock on the door. "Come in," I say without looking up. I hear the door open and feel the bed dip so I glance up to see Dom sitting beside me. "What's up?" I ask.

"Remember how I said that I had finished touring and was on a break?" He questions, running his hand through his hair. I narrow my eyes in suspicion but nod. "I kind of lied," he states with a nervous laugh. I sigh and sit up straighter, turning my phone off.

"What exactly does that mean for me?" I snap. He toys with his sleeves and smiles sheepishly at me.
"Well I'm moving into a house in Venice Beach, which means you're gonna have to come with me. I know we just got here and it's short notice but my plan was never really to stay here I just kind of forgot what with all the... stuff that happened," he says quickly. I grunt in annoyance but I know that there isn't really anything I can say or do to change it so I just nod.

"When are we moving?" Dom does that cute little grin where his eyes squint up. Haha you called him cute. Did not. Did too. Shut the fuck up.

"I figured you'd need some clothes and such so we're going to go shopping for you but after that we're heading to the house. My stuff's already there," says Dom. "I know you don't have any clothes so you can borrow some of mine again."

"Alright." Dom gets up so I follow him and wait outside his room while he grabs me some clothes. He comes out with a black and white striped shirt and some black trousers. I shrug and take the clothes before quickly changing in my room and then heading out with Dom. We get in his car and start driving to the store.

~*~*~*~

Now that we've finished shopping we are heading to the place in Venice. To be honest, I'm not really sure what to expect seeing as the old one was a fucking mansion, yet I think a random mansion just chilling in the suburbs would be kind of conspicuous. One thing I definitely did not expect was an average house. Not that I need a mansion, I've been living in an average house for most of my life so I'm not about to act like some spoiled brat after spending a few days in luxury. I suppose I'm just not really sure what to expect when it comes to Dom.

Nevertheless, we get out of the car and walk up to the door. Dom pulls some keys out of his pocket and opens up the door, holding it open for me to walk through first. I step inside and examine the interior. I'm pretty sure the house is two floors from what I saw outside, and I can see what I think are stairs from where I'm standing. The house itself is pretty modern and clean. I'm assuming that that's because Dom hasn't been living here.

He walks in behind me, closing the door and plopping down on the white couch near me. He pulls me down with him and I sit cross legged next to him.

Suddenly, I hear a noise from upstairs and give Dom a questioning look. He sighs and runs a hand through his hair.

"Sorry, I forgot to mention. My younger sister is going to be staying with us for a while."
(I know she's in England but just pretend for the sake of the story.)

I hear footsteps pounding down the staircase and whip my head around to see a young girl with short brown hair and bangs standing on the bottom step.

Shit.
I'm not gonna lie, I am horrible with children. Not only do I have no social skills after living alone for years, but I also always seem to say the wrong thing when I'm around kids. This one time I was at a park and a little boy started talking to me. He told me that my skin was so pale I could be a vampire, so I told him that I was one and he should run before I started craving blood. In hindsight, I guess it was kinda dumb to tell a kid that, but I didn't think he would actually believe me.

Another time I swear there was this girl who was convinced I was a ghost. Not to mention all the times I've sweared in front of children.

Anyways, I decided that it was best for me to stay away from kids, which is going to be a hell of a lot harder to do now thanks to this awkward predicament. Thankfully this girl looks old enough that she probably won't believe I'm an evil being. But you never know.

Dom stands up and gestures between his sister and I haphazardly.

"Reva this is Izzy. Izzy, meet Reva." I smile awkwardly and wave at her. She skips over to us and raises her eyebrow.

"Are you two dating?" She asks abruptly, making my face flush a bit.
"No, we aren't," I mumble.

Dom runs his hand through his hair again, messing it up even more. It actually looks really soft and I can imagine it would be fun to braid and- pull when making out. What if he has a hair pulling kink? That could be fun. You know what kink is fun? What? Punishment. And if you don't stop talking that is exactly what you're gonna get. Except you aren't going to enjoy it.

Izzy shrugs and smiles at me.
"It's nice to meet you Reva. I hope we can be friends." I just nod and give her a small smile in return. She seems sweet, hopefully I won't scare her off.
