Song: Lostmyhead  -the 1975

The next morning was a blur. I got a headache and the morning light hurt my eyes. All I wanted was to stay in bed until dark.

"Time to wake up!" We heard from outside, it was a familiar voice and I almost wanted to throw a rock at the boys who woke us up.

"Go away." I wined, hearing the front door unlock. Why the fuck did I give them my key? When did I decide that was ever a good idea?

"Now what was that princess?" I heard a voice by de door say. "I will puke on you Bodhi." Rain declared muffled by the pillow over her head.

"That's not nice." Parker replied turning on the coffee machine.

"I told you they can't go out without us." Bodhi told Parker, both laughing. I got out of bed irritated and put on a bathing suit and white blouse to cover myself up a bit.

"Did you guys do anything last night?" I asked grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting down.

Rain also joined still in her dress from last night. You could see Parker looking at her from time to time trying his best not to notice her but failing greatly.

"Nah we just hang with some people at the skate park and then went to my place and got stoned." Bodhi replied. I nodded.

"I need to go home and sleep for 24 hours straight." Rain said. I giggled "Yeah last night was crazy. I haven't even drunk that much at college parties."

Bodhi chuckled and Parker got up, "So tonight we all go out." He said going outside and leaving us in my cabin. "I don't think so." Rain answered.

"Come on Rain since when did you get old?" Bodhi asks also getting up and clapping his hands together. I heard guitar playing outside again and decided to join Parker.

The sun was hot and my body felt like a new wave of energy poured on me. Last night... only one thing or better say one person circled around in my mind.

"Besides tonight I want to celebrate the job I got." Parker continued. Rain's eyes plopped open and suddenly she did not seem tired at all anymore. Also my thoughts were put to the side.

"A job?" Rain said coming outside and sitting down next to me.

"Yeah," Parker said smugly continuing playing the guitar.

"Where?" I asked.

"At Venice beach, I'm going to be a surf instructor." He looked up and smiled.

"That's great!" I exclaimed. "I guess I can suck it up for another night then." Rain said sheepishly.

"But can you both please leave us alone right now and pick us up around dinner time? I can't socialize with a hangover." Rain continued. Bodhi and Parker laughed, both grabbing their surfboards they went off to the beach letting Rain and me sleep for a couple more hours.

I decided to go with a simple black dress, let my hair fall down loosely around me and focused on my highlighter and contour. Rain wanted to wear the same lipstick as me which I never liked, it emphasized the fact she looked better than me.

"Are your parents coming over this summer?" Rain asked me when we were getting ready. Rain grew up with me and knew my parents, she was very close to them they were almost like the parents she never really had.

"Yeah probably, we haven't talked about an exact date yet." I told her.

"I miss them; they are always so cheerful." She said I looked down, I never felt like my parents looked at me the same way as they did at Rain.
