Valerie's p.o.v
DING DING BEEP BEEP
"ugh I hate school!"
I got up and headed to the bathroom that's connected to my bedroom I walk in and turn the water on and take off my clothes and get in . I put some strawberry shampoo and conditioner and some body soap I rinse my self off and wrap a towel around my body and put a towel in my hair . I enter my room and walk into my clothes its a walk in closet , I search through my clothes and I Finnaly find some thing to wear it's a black crop top that had words on it and says "I woke up like this" and I put it with white skinny jeans and my black bear paws. The crop top shows my belly ring perfectly its a diamond belly ring it's the hook that goes through my belly then the diamond at the end ,then it has a little diamond and a penguin dangling from it . I decide to straighten my hair but curl it a the ends and I top it with a flower crown I put some perfume that smells like coconut I grab my phone and my bag that's black with really pretty floral designs and in the middle is a really cute penguin and then my phone case is a penguin , I'm obsessed with penguins.
I walk down stairs and to my surprise is my best friend makayl sitting down eating eggs bacon toast and sausage , I walk up to the table and sit down makayl looks at me and says
"It's about time woman"
"A girls gotta look her best for her first day back at school" I say with a smirk
Makayl was wearing similar things to me she had a crop too it was black but said "your just a little bit out of my limit" with navy blue skinny jeans and her casual vans her belly ring was exactly the same but hers had a dolphin
We wanted to have the some belly ring but she wanted a dolphin
We both have lip rings but we aren't wearing them today.
We quickly finish our lunch and walk to school it's about a 5 to 10 minute walk from my house . We finally get there and go get our schedule and we have the same classes together thank goodness we are both juniors and we both are 17
Makayl has brown eyes with light brown hair I have dark brown hair with red highlights everyone says I dyed it but really I was born with it and I have blue and kinda brown eyes I have a weird color eyes they change with whatever I wear it also happens with makayl
We go to our first class wich is math we sit down and begin class we take notes and start writing till Derek start calling me names like
"Stupid"
"Pathetic"
"Fat"
"Slut"
And more
I raise my hand
"Yes Valerie?"
Ms.Thomas asks
"May I be exused?"
"Yes of course!"
She somehow is always I'n a happy mood I don't understand sometimes , I quickly get up and run to the bathroom but I run Into something I look up and see 4 tall and gorgeous looking boys
"Are you okay?"
The blonde one asks
I just nod
"Opps I'm sorry , I'm Luke Luke Hemmings this is Calum hood , Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford it's nice to meet you" Luke said with a smile
"I-I'm Valerie Valerie waters " I say with a smile
"It's nice to meet you guys"
They all smile but luke seems alittle bit concerned
"Are you sure you okay ? "
"I'm-
I get cut off by makayl running to me and hugging me making us both fall to the floor
"Makayl you little girl get your butt up or I will chase you around the school while your trying not to get beat up by me"
"No honey , listen I will not get up till I feel like it "
She says with a smirk
"Oh your asking for it "
She gets up and starts running away, I start chasing her bit she keeps turning , I have always been faster than her I'm Finnaly beside her and I grab her and bring her tumbling down with me , laughing like crazy
"Val!! Stop I'm gonna pee!!!"
"No you stop I will have to too!!"
We both can't stop laughing and then I hear all the boys laughing I look up and see them on the floor clutching their stomachs
I quickly get up and run to the bathroom as quickly as I can I did my business and wash my hands I open the door to see Luke waiting by it
"Hi"
"Hey "
"Shouldn't you be I'm class?" I say
"Shouldn't you be in class? We'll I stayed back to make sure you were ok while everyone left"
He says with a smile and I smile back
"Thanks but you didn't have too"
"I wanted too" he says with a big smile exposing his dimples
I was about to say something the Derek emerged from the door and grabs me by my collar and slams me against the wall
"Why are you not in class slut??"
He says angrily
"I -I had to u-use t-the b-bathroom"
I stutter I'm really scared of him
He punches me and I fall to the floor then he kicks my stomach then hits my head really hard
"LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!!!!"
I heard I turn and see luke looking angry
"AND WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT!!"
Luke them steps in front of me to protect me and block me from Derek
"I'm gonna do this "
Luke says then he pushed Derek back to the lockers and punched him
Luke walks over to me and my vision starts to get blurry he picks me up bridal style and whispers in my ear
"Everything will be alright , I've got you nothing is going to happen to you ever again "
And then blackness takes over

Luke's p.o.v
Valerie was a beautiful girl when Derek started to hit her I got so angry she looked scared so I beat the life out of him and now I'm taking Valerie to the nurse but I don't know were it is
"Dammit it "
I mutter to myself
I walk to math class and open the door makayl looked and and gasped
"VALERIE!!"
"Oh my!!"
The teacher yells
"What happend to her dear"
She asked me softly
"Some boy started beating her up pretty badly so I stepped up and defended her"
"Uuurrrhhh!!! It was Derek!!!!"
Makayl yelled
"We'll makayl can you show him to the nurse?"
"Of course! But can some other friends come?"
"Yes now go take her quickly"
I gestured for the boys to come
We walked to the nurses office and knocked
"Come in"
"Hello ms. Oster Valerie got hurt really badly and passed out"
The nurse quickly got up and told me to sit down so she can clean up Valerie .
She cleaned up all the blood and wrap a
Bandage around her arm because she had pretty bad cuts
"She is fine other then the cuts she will wake up soon . you are all welcome to stay if you'd like" she said with a smile
"Thank you" I said
I looked down at Valerie and she looked beautiful her brown
hair and the red she has in it is beautiful I looked down to her stomach and she had cuts but I noticed her belly ring and it has a penguin
"My and Valerie wanted to go get belly button piercings so we got the same but she has a penguin and I have a dolphin" Makayl said
"That's cute that both of you got it "
"It is Valerie is like a sister to me we are like twins basically she's always adventurous , sweet , kind , loving and very funny any guy will love her .... you seem perfect for her thank you"
"You really think I'm perfect for her? And thank you for what?"
"You are absolutely perfect for her you seem nice and adventurous sweet kind and funny she needs someone like you to protect her and thank you for protecting her"
"It's alright I couldn't stand seeing her getting hurt "
I said with a smile and I leaned down and placed a kiss on Valerie's forehead
