Based loosely around the Jonathan Wilkes undercover he did on Ant and Dec a while ago. Part 1 video is above^, part 2 is also there 😁
It was a Friday evening and Ant, Dec, Lisa and Ali were off to watch greyhound racing as Ant and Dec's dog, Angel of the North, was racing. Dec and Ali's relationship was still kept under wraps, and the only ones that knew were their families, Ant and Lisa, and the necessary others at James Grant, not even their closest friends knew just yet. They had hired a private box to have dinner with friends and family so they could all enjoy the evening.
As they entered the suite, they were introduced to Jonny's cousins, Lee and Kate. They shook hands and then took their seats, Ant was sat next to Lisa opposite Dec and Ali, who were also sat next to each other. The four of them all had a chat before leaving their homes, deciding that Dec and Ali's relationship would stay a secret for now, so all promised to try their hardest to keep it quiet. This meant for most of the evening, Dec and Ali had to distance themselves from each other physically, which Dec was finding really hard to do as Ali had been around Dec's house most nights since their first got together, and he was finding it extremely hard to keep his hands off of Ali this evening.
"Declan, you're going to have to be more subtle. I know you're struggling, and I am too, but it's only a few hours and then we can go back to normal."
"I'm trying Al, I really am. I just wish we wouldn't have to keep it a secret, but I get why because of all the stupid press."
Ali rubbed Dec's arm to keep him grounded, and Ant looked over, but Ali just let out a deep sigh as she was becoming fed up of having to keep their relationship a secret.
Soon after, the first race started and the four of them decided not to bet on this one as they were greeting all of the other guests that had been invited into the suite.
"Declan, I'm just going to pop to the loo a minute with Lis."
"No worries, darling." Ali playfully slapped Dec on the shoulder, knowing that he was pushing the boundaries as far as they could go, but Ali was wanting to play it safe.
Ant and Dec were mid conversation with each other talking about the races when they were soon interrupted by Lee and Kate. Kate had always had a bit of a crush on Dec, so persuaded Lee to distract Ant while she could chat with Dec.
"Hey, Ant, can I tell you a joke? It's a good one."
"Yeah sure, go for it." As Ant turned to face Lee, Kate focussed her attention to Dec.
"So I just moved into the area and I'm thinking about having a house warming party this Sunday, do you fancy it?" She placed her hand on Dec's arm and looked into his eyes.
Dec was unsure on what to do or say. If this had happened previously, Dec would have taken up the offer straight away and appreciated it. But now he had Ali to think about, so tried to politely decline the invite, saying that he would have to work on Monday so would be unsure if he could make it. Kate didn't give up though and whilst Ant was still distracted, she decided to write her phone number down on a piece of paper and place it in Dec's hand, lingering her hand there for longer than necessary.
Dec tried to make his excuses to leave and grab a drink and then join Ant, "I mean thanks for the offer, but I'll have to check my schedule as I'm working Monday so don't want too much of a wild night."
Kate linked her arm through Dec's as he started making his way to their bar to get another drink, finding a way to escape her hold.
"Are you going to buy me a drink? That's so lovely of you Dec!"
"Erm, sure, what would you like?"
"I'll just have a glass of wine please, make it a large too" she winked at Dec as she ordered her drink, and turned to watch the bartender make their drinks. Dec just stared at her and then faced the bartender, trying to shake what just happened out of his head.
