A lone figure stands near the foot of a cave on Mt. Silver. He wears an aura guardian suit, a proud honor for him. He stares outside, looking at the blizzard taking place, showing no sign of feeling the frigid weather. The wind moves through his wild raven hair that only has a hat taming it. His eyes, a deep brown, that seems to shine when he uses aura.

He is broken out of his trance when a blue jackal dog calls out to him through telepathy, 'Master, are you alright?'

"Lucario," the male says without turning. "I'm fine," he whispers after a moment of deliberation. At that moment a yellow rodent with a thunderbolt shaped tail comes toward the duo. The electric mouse looks at the guardian questionably.

Pika pi Pikachu? (Are you thinking about something Ash?) The little electric rodent asked.

The male now identified as Ash looks at his faithful partners, "I'm..." he pauses as if to find the words. "...recalling the days of truths revealed," he says.

The Kalos League was over and Ash had ended in second place but he didn't mind. Alain was a strong opponent and he also had a strong bond with all his Pokèmon.

Personally, Ash was grateful that the craziness and danger to the world was over.

"Alright, buddy we'll be heading home soon," Ash said to his partner as he packed the last of his items. He was at a center and would be leaving for the airport soon. His friends were outside waiting for him.

Pikachu! Pika chu, pika pi! (Alright! Let's go, Ash!) Pikachu replied and despite not understanding, Ash smiled.

However, as he prepared to leave a cruel plot was afloat.

Serena was pacing outside as Clemont and Bonnie watched her. "I cannot believe he lost!" She said while groaning with despair.

"Well, he got second place and Alian was really strong! We should be happy for him!" Bonnie said as she cuddled Dedenne.

"I don't know Bonnie... he has been doing this for quite a while. Maybe he should try something different?" Clemont said as he sighed.

"Whaa?! What're you saying?! It's his dream to be a Pokèmon Master!" Bonnie shouted with indignation. "How can you imply that he should give up?" She asked as her eyes teared up slightly.

"Relax Bonnie, we only want what is best for him" Clemont replied as he raised his hands to appease her.

"Yeah, Bonnie. Besides, he'll be going home soon. How about we go there after finding his other companions? Then we can talk and get their opinion!" Serena said with a smile as she stepped forward to hug Bonnie.

"No! I want nothing to do with this! Why are you doing this? You've both been acting so strange lately..." Bonnie said as she took a step back from Serena. Her eyes flickered to her brother asking for clarification.

"You'll have to stay at home when I leave Bonnie." Clemont said instead of explaining. Before Bonnie could say anything else, they heard Ash approach.

"Hey, guys!" Ash said with a smile. He couldn't wait to head back home. "C'mon! I don't want to miss my flight." He said as he began walking.
