wyatt + Eliza Wyiza a werewolf and a zombie

chapter 7

Wyatt hadn't seen or spoken to his dad since last nights events and if he was being honest he didn't know if he wanted to. Willa and Wynter had tried their best to get him motivated for school, but it was the last place he had wanted to be. instead he had found him self sat crossed legged on the mountain edge of the den looking out over seabrook,and their he had stayed most of the day, not even the idea of food had drawn him away.

the next thing Wyatt hears is some coughing behind him. he turns around ready to tell willa to go away, but its not willa he sees, instead leaning against the den wall is Eliza with two pots of froyo, she smiles at him and Wyatt can't help but smile back as there is a small part of him that is happy to see her.

he turns back to look out over seabrook and Eliza takes this as her cue to come and join him. she sits next to him and hands him his pot of froyo, its a blink and you miss it sort of moment, one minute his pot is full and the next minute its not. Eliza then hands him the second pot

'if i'm being honest i don't really like froyo, but i know you do!' she smiles at Wyatt

'i guess Willa told you about my dad paying us a visit'

'yea she did, im sorry if i got you into trouble'

'no you didn't, its just given my dad more reason to want us to come home, plus as i'm his only son one day he wants me to take over his post as an an elder'

'and do you want to?' wonders Eliza

'i guess its something ive been taught about my whole life and some day yea i would like to, but my dad makes it sound like its going to happen tomorrow but im still a kid and i quiet like going to a proper school'

Eliza suddenly felt a small bit of disappointment that herself and everyone else didnt get a mention.

'plus i've got friends that i would miss and i don't want to lose that'

Eliza smiled 'well maybe if he got to meet us all properly then we could change his mind'

Wyatt scoffed 'if only it was possible'

wyatt then placed the second empty froyo pot to his side.

'anyway why are you here and not at school?'

'i got Zed and addison to cover for me'

'why?'

'because i was worried'

'about me'

'yea, i felt bad and i thought it was my fault that you dad got angry at you for helping me that night'

'he didn't like there idea, but its all of the zombies doesn't like, not just you'

Wyatt and Eliza both look at each other and smile. their moment was interrupted by someone coughing behind them.

they both turn around to see Willa and Wynter both looking at them. Wyatt and Eliza both stand up and walk towards them.

nobody says anything. Eliza than breaks the silence.

'i should probably be getting home, homework and stuff'

Eliza slides past Willa and Wynter but before she leaves Wyatt grabs her arm  he looks at her and smiles 'thank you'

Eliza smiles back and rushes out of the den to get home before her mom realizes she skipped school.

When Eliza has the left Willa turns and looks at Wyatt

'what's happening?'

Wyatt gives her honest answer while looking in the direction Eliza left
'i don't know!'
