wyatt + Eliza Wyiza a werewolf and a zombie

chapter 8

the next day starts with Eliza, Zed and addison walking to school. when they arrive at the front of the school the rest of the gang is there including Wyatt, this makes Eliza smile to herself, she doesn't know why but shes happy to know that wyatt came to school today. Wyatt spots Eliza and sees her smiling, her wonders what has made her smile.

everyones happy to see Wyatt back and reassures both Willa and Wyatt that their dad will come round. just then the bell rings

while everyones busy walking into school no one notices Eliza and Wyatt hanging back.

'thank you for yesterday'

'you don't need to thank me its what friends do'

'i haven't really had many friends before, its usually been just me and my sister plus our pack but their more like family'

Eliza's smiles 'i hear you have a meeting with the coach about joining the football team this afternoon'

wyatt laughed 'yeah, nothings set in stone, but Zed say its looking good'

'thats great and i'm sure once your dads seen you play he will have to let you stay' 

'we can hope' says wyatt.

they both reached the end of the corridor and one goes left and the other goes right but not before they say goodbye and hug, its only the second time they've hugged but this time it didn't feel awkward or strange but instead it felt normal and left both of them with a smile.

At lunch Eliza decides to go and watch Wyatt and Zed at football practice. she didn't know why she was going as she couldn't stand football, she didn't see its fascination, but she knew she wanted to.

she makes her way to the football bleachers to watch the practice. while there she runs into Willa and Wynter and sits with them. they spend the next hour cheering the boys on and encouraging Wyatt.

when practice is over Wyatt and Zed turn to the girls and give them a thumbs up. Eliza claps and Willa and Wynter howls. Wyatt makes his way over to the girls happy to see that Eliza decided to come.

'see i knew you could do it' said Eliza

Wyatt smiled as he didn't know what to say.

Willa then joined in 'that gives use all the more reason to celebrate tonight'

Eliza remembers hearing them mention about a wolfie party tonight the other day, but she guessed it was wolf only so she saw this as her signal to head back to school. she congratulates Wyatt once more and then turns back to school.

Wyatt watches her walk back to school and in that moment he decided to do something he never thought he would do and could get him into big trouble, but he needed to do something for Eliza like she had done for him
