District 9

Chapter Eight

(Namjoon's POV)

It has only been a few minutes after the girls left and I just got a message from Scarlett saying that they have to stop by The Center and not to worry. My reply is, 'Okay, I haven't talked to the others but I know that they won't mind.'

I look up at Jimin, who was talking to me about one of the problems he seems to be having with the drug operation.

"Anyways," I say.

"Anyways, so one of the crew under me said that it seems we have a trader. They said that they weren't sure who it was because they only saw an outline, but they did hear them speaking to someone else, giving away information," Jimin tells me.

"What kind of information?" I ask him, already having a plan forming in my head of what I'll do.

"Mm, ways to hurt us and the people close to us," he tells me.

I nod. "Does your crew remember the voice?" I ask him.

"He might," Jimin says.

"We'll need to question him and the rest of the crew," I mutter. "We have to solve this problem before it affects us."

"I'd suggest doing away with all the crew, but then that leaves them open to give away information," Jimin says. "Though Hoseok would suggest killing them all. And I kind of agree, I mean none of them have families and they all are druggies anyways."

"You do have a point. I'd say the only one worth keeping alive is the one who told you that there was a trader," I tell him. "I'll get the others involved to see what they suggest."

"I'll go get them," Jimin tells me.

I nod in reply. When he leaves I start to think about Scarlett. I really hope I can get her to change her mind and not fight in the fight tomorrow. Maybe sometime tomorrow, or maybe later today I can tell her about my full life.

Before I can think much more about it, The others walk through the door. Jimin is in the lead, and the others are trailing behind him.

Once everyone seems relaxed, I nod to Jimin, "Go ahead and tell them what's happening."

Jimin quickly tells everyone about his crew problem.

"I feel like we should drop all of them," Taehyung says.

"Or kill them slowly," Hoseok says.

"I'm at least going to kill the trader because no one betrays us and gets away from it," I mutter.

It suddenly hits me about how many things I've done that Scarlett wouldn't like and that I wouldn't want her to know about me. Maybe I can take her to the next large gang meeting that happens, and see how she reacts to it. I mean it is only a few days away I believe.

"I mean you are the leader, so it is up to you," Jungkook mutters.

"You know that I always ask you guys for your opinion," I say.

"You could just find out who is the trader and kill them and who he is around all the time," Yoongi says.

"And how are we going to find out who it is?" Hoseok asks. When nobody says anything for a few seconds, he says, "And that is why we should kill them all. I mean we could always get new people to work for us."

"Or we could just send someone in to find out for us," Jin suggests.

"As a new person?" I ask.

He gives a nod as an answer. "But who?" Jimin asks.

"I mean I don't think Scarlett would mind doing something like that," Hoseok mutters.

Him saying that makes it feel like I got shot in the heart. "We can't do that," I answer.

"She'd be fine. I mean look at all the trouble she gets into. If she goes undercover, Jimin could always look out for her," Hoseok tells me.

"We can't have her in danger," I mutter.

"She'll be fine, I'll watch her and besides she can protect herself," Jimin tells me.

I sigh, before saying, "Let me think about it for a bit."

"Okay, just remember that until we find out who it is we have to be on edge," Jimin tells me.

I nod once before saying, "I know."

"Alright, and we also need to talk about the upcoming large gang meeting," Jin says.

I quickly reach my hand into my jacket to pull out the letter we got about it. "Not much has really changed about the rules," I tell them. "Though we all know that there will be some new smaller gangs that will try to show off like they normally do. And it says that Blacknight are the ones that are there to control the place. So that means that they will be the ones to break up any fights that happen, and also they are the ones that will be supplying most things."

"Blacknight?" Taehyung asks. "Aren't they also from District 9 or close by there."

"Yeah they set up there about four or five years ago. At the beginning they were pretty small, only a few members. And now they have, I don't know twenty, twenty-five members, not counting the workers they hold," Yoongi says.

"Though nobody knows what they look like because they are always wearing some type of a mask when they do anything related to the gang," Jungkook says.

"Though I did hear that there are four people who share the leader position. And rumor has it that the four are female," Hoseok says.

"Besides that not much is known about Blacknight," Yoongi mutters.

"Though I did hear that they did buy some alcohol and drugs from one of the gangs near here a few days ago. They probably got it for the meeting," Jimin says.

"That does make sense," I say.

"Hopefully they got the good alcohol," Jungkook mutters.

"They probably got it from Violent Fangs. I mean they are the most well known for alcohol. And I we all know that they dable in a bit of drugs," Jimin says.

"Besides I do believe that Violent Fangs and Blacknight have some type of alliance," I say.

"I mean it wouldn't surprise me if some of Violent Fangs younger members broke off to make Blacknight," Jungkook said.

"I agree, I mean Violent Fang is a pretty big gang, and they would have been fine if they lost a few members to have another gang start up," Jin says.

I quietly sigh, hoping that Scarlett and them will get back soon. When I do, my phone goes off. I quickly pull out my phone to see a message from Scarlett. 'Are you sure you don't need anything before we come back?' I read.

'I'm sure Scar,' I message her.

About thirty seconds later and I recieve another message. 'Alright if you say so. Did you ask if we could stay with you guys?'

"Dammit, I forgot to ask you guys," I say. Everyone turns their attention to me. "I suggested that Scarlett and them stay the night at the place. And I said that I would ask if any of you would mind if they did," I tell them.

After a few seconds, everyone seems to decide that they don't care if the girls stay. I quickly message Scarlett back with the decision, along with telling her that we'll meet them here and walk them to our place.
