All night I kept dreaming about that mysterious boy I encountered last night. I have never seen him before in my whole life. Which the British accent gives the obvious that he is not from West Virginia or the United States. Did he even know if West Virginia was a state? He may be from England or some other British country that I don't know about. Sadly, I could not find out the answer.

I woke up.

The banjos at the beginning of Church Bells by Carrie Underwood had brought me back to reality. I had stopped the alarm on my phone before Carrie starts singing the first verse. I look at my phone and it is 7:30 AM.

Welp.

Time to get ready for work.

I slipped out of bed and grabbed some clothes then headed to the shower. After I got out of the shower, I put on my work uniform. It consists of a black t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and my sneakers. I only put mascara on, because I don't wear a lot of makeup like a lot of people and it's Friday so why not? I ate some leftover fruit salad mom made before she left the house for breakfast. I texted mom thanking her for the fruit salad in the fridge. taking the bowl, I had used for breakfast washing it before I leave for work.

Purse, check.

Keys and phone, check!

Time to go to work.

Locking the door and walking towards my car. I hop in and drive to the Secret Garden Florist. The best place to work ever in my opinion. It's better than to be an associate in a mall asking people if they need help with anything and most people decline the help. It must be awkward to stand around. Driving down Route 19, I couldn't help thinking about what happened in the past 24 hours.

Mom and Dad left me.

They're divorcing.

They gave me the house and I Have to commute to campus every day.

Then I encounter this mysterious British guy last night and told me that he would see me later.

What in the Sam Hill has my life come to?

After listening to my thoughts and Magic 106.5 radio station. I arrived at the Secret Garden Florist. It's eight forty-five and my shift doesn't start till nine. I would go in, but my boss Patrick has the keys to the shop. Knowing Patrick ever since I was in high school, he is always late for something. For the time being, I sat in my car thinking about what I was going to be doing today. I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear Patrick pull up in his blue ford fiesta. Until I hear a knock and I see Patrick waving outside my car. The man still looks the same red hair, beard, and blue eyes. Wearing a dress shirt and jeans. I got my purse and keys and exited the car.

"Patrick!" I exclaimed.

"Ivy! So glad to see you back at the Secret Garden. How were your finals?" Patrick asked. As we started to head toward the entrance of the shop.

"Pretty good, I hope. College is so exhausting, but I'm happy to be back here working."

"I'm glad to hear it. Everyone else should be pulling in soon. I'm going to set up and I need to talk to you about something." He says while unlocking the door letting everyone in.

Dear Nana, am I getting fired?

I shrug off the thought and clock into work. Then I started to head to Patrick's office which was past the stockroom of flowers for bouquets, arrangements, and displays. Walking through the stockroom is going through a floral rainbow with different colors, types of flowers, and the beautiful aroma that every individual flower brings. It is a peaceful feeling.
