Chapter Ten

3rd Person's POV

All three of them looked at another dead end, Shamir can't seem to adjust and just flew by her wings since she's already exhausted. They passed a man and Ban decided to ask him, Shamir and Jericho had a nasty glare on the guy who seemed innocent, both Shamir and Jericho promised to themselves that they will protect Ban whatever happens. The man said that it is rumoured that someone brought back to life, the trio went there but Shamir had a bad feeling about all of that.

"Ban.......I have a bad feeling about this, let's just go and find Meli along with the others"Shamir said as Ban was looking at her

"Don't you want to see Elaine alive?"Ban asked as Shamir looked at him

"I want to but Ban.....please listen, you and I along with Jericho will be in danger!"Shamir argued and Ban never really saw her like this, Ban got annoyed by her and so he clicked his tongue, Jericho tried to calm down both Shamir and Ban.

"I'll revive Elaine no matter what. Whether it cause my death"Ban said as Shamir and Jericho were shocked

"Don't you love Miss Shamir?!"Jericho asked as Shamir smiled bitterly

"Fine........be your selfish self Ban, I'm going back to Meli..........and I should've never trusted you or even hope for you to love me back......it will never happen since you STILL love Elaine......no matter what I do. Goodbye"Shamir said as Jericho tried to stop her but Shamir flew like a thunder away from Ban and her, Jericho was angry to the fact that Ban had a ridiculous choices of words

"Oi, Ban! I thought yo------"Jericho stopped her runt when she saw Ban was crying and kneeling down

"I did what is right to protect her from recklessly saving me! I saw what happened in the Fairy King's Forest, Gerheade stabbed her.........I protected her this time........I don't want her to die like Elaine did........"Ban said as Jericho looked at Ban, she understood the situation

"Look......I understand the situation but you shouldn't really have been so harsh on the words, I could see Miss Shamir's eyes watering.........Ban, she was hurt by your words"Jericho said as Ban stood up, his face is gloomy

"I know........Cap'n will keep her safe"Ban said as he continued to walk but without the shine in his eyes like when he was around Shamir. Ban and Jericho rested on the inn silently, Ban was silent as per usual but it was even weird to Jericho that he hasn't spoken that much, if she asks something, all Ban do is just stare into space or in his own little world. Then Ban snapped his head onto the window when they heard a commotion, Jericho and Ban look through the window and saw multiple guys surrounding Shamir and a guy with a cloak

"Shamir.........?"Ban asked as Shamir protected the guy who was in the cloak in her human form........Ban was so concerned which caused him to leap through the window and to the ground, no one noticed him though

"Stay back you old men!"Shamir said as the other man licked his lips

"Pretty thick, especially here~"the man said while pointing at Shamir's chest and butt which caused her to get flustered from anger, Ban was even more pissed off than before and so he fought off the men and Shamir was relieved but at the same time hurt.

"Dude, save him, I'm going back to my inn"Shamir said as Ban looked at her, she gently gestured for Ban to hold the man but Ban carried both of them which caused Shamir to let out a small gasp.

"Don't call me that"Ban said as Shamir looked at him and was punching his back but that didn't let Ban to let her down, Ban laid the man and Shamir, Ban tied her up so she won't escape.

"Ban! Let me go!"Shamir said as Jericho was about to help her but Ban warned her not to

"I'm sorry Miss Shamir"Jericho said as Shamir felt betrayed

"Ban! What're you planning?!"she asked as Ban sat down

"I'm not planning anything, moreover if I let you go or even if I untied you, you'll probably escape. I have a question that you have to answer, Shamir"Ban said as Shamir scoffed, she is stubborn

"Why are you here in the Ravens? Didn't you say you'll go to Cap'n?"Ban asked as Shamir blushed at this point and sighed then looked at Ban's eyes intently

"Elaine.........I made a promise to her that no matter what........I'll protect you.....even if I'm going to be hurt"Shamir said as Ban widened his eyes

"Yo-your trying to protect me?"Ban asked as Jericho just listened to the conversation

"Yeah........that's what I promised to Elaine......when she and I met in Necropolis"Shamir said as Ban looked away

"And here I am.........Elaine made me promise to love you and protect you even if it causes my death........"Ban said as Shamir looked at him

"Huh?! She made you promise that?! How can she be cruel in her own happiness?!"Shamir asked as she sighed in frustration, Ban was looking at her

"Elaine loves you with all her heart and yet.........she made you promise to keep me, to protect me and to love me back........tsk as if that will happen, I'm a worthless Princess that came from the Goddess Clan, a useless Princess who made a mistake 3,000 years ago, a Princess who was a loner and was banish from the heavens"Shamir said as she lowered her head down which cause Ban look at her

"Oi! What do you mean useless?! Worthless?! I don't love you back?! Shamir, I've been in love with you for 10 years now.........I did ever since we got separated! You were the one who filled my life after she died, don't ever say that things again"Ban said as Shamir had a crying face, Jericho noticed that the rope was untied

"Ban.........."Shamir said as Ban looked at her and Jericho witnessed the whole thing, she stared at Shamir with jealousy but she was glad that Ban was able to let out the feelings, then the beast man who is in the cloak looked at the scene

"Hey ji-san, do y-you have a magic to revive the dead?"Shamir continued who stood up and Ban stared at her while she sat down next to him

"Unfortunately I don't have that type of powers, I'm sorry young lady"the beast man said as Shamir smiled and laid her head onto Ban's arm, she closed her eyes and she instantly slept. The beast man decided to leave but he collapsed, Jericho caught him and laid him down again on the bed, Ban looked at the beast man. They continued to talk until Shamir wakes up, now she was sitting down while listening to the conversation, silently.
