Chapter Seventeen

Shamir's POV

Me, Ban, and Meli were hunting down demons who apparently we're captivating human prisoners for someone.

"Where did you all get caught?"Meli asked as me and Ban both sided, I sensed some more demons then let my wings appear.

"ARK!"I shouted while an explosion was made then Ban and Meli went up to the other demons. We camp outside, I'm with Ban while Meli was in the opposite of me and Ban

"You literally just abandoned Elaine"Meli said which made me sad

"Elaine........we never forgot about her, Meli.........I don't know what I am feeling right now to be honest"I said as Ban look down at me

"You're not happy with me?"he asked as I smiled and punch his chest softly

"Of course I am happy with you, but Elaine...........I regret it.........why do I have to fall for Elaine's lover?"I asked as Ban hugged me tightly, Meliodas just smiled

"You fell for Ban because he was a great guy and I'm sure Elaine is happy for the both of you"Meli said as I sighed and hugged Ban then buried my head on his chest. Days have passed and each day, my mother is reminding me that I'll die sooner, right now, I'll be focusing onto our job, our job is protecting humans and people from demons. We, the Eight Deadly Sins were at Ordan Village. I saw a demon grasping a child, he seems to be struggling for life. I had enough and zoomed passed everyone then I saved the boy, the demon has tentacles and I just cut it off. All of them were now attacking every demon, I looked at the boy, he was scratched up and bruises all over his body.

"Gowther, catch!"I said as I flew on top of Gowther's head then dropped the boy perfectly in Gowther's arms, he caught the boy and I smiled. The demon send some more demons but we're easily killed by Ban and Meliodas. I just watched from the top, a Copper Demon attacked Escanor while I smiled, I was suddenly grabbed by the Ochre Demon and I looked at it's ugly face.

"Gowther, I need help"I said as Ban was looking at me worriedly

"OI, HELP HER, BAKA!"Ban said as I chuckled, Gowther attacked the demon and I smiled while my wings sprung up again, I flew towards the people while I kept my guard up.

"SHAMIR WATCH OUT!"Merlin shouted as I saw a demon charging at the people upward, I flew up.

"BUTTERFLY SHIELD FORM 02: CRYSTAL SHIELD!"I shouted as a block of Crystal came upward where the attacker is and it hit the attacker. After Ban killing the Ochre Demon, me and Elizabeth healed all of the people in the village.

"I thought Goddesses were vanished from the world?"a old man who looks like in his 80's asked slowly

"It did but I'm the one who survived......."I said as he kept asking questions but I felt uncomfortable answering all of them and so Meli is my rescuer since he IS the one who only knew what my curse is. We went back to Liones and Hawk apparently was excited to even say something because of the new renovated Boar Hat, unconsciously, Ban and Meli pulled the cloth that was under the bar and I saw the new Boar Hat! It's so cool. 

"What do you think about the new tavern, Elizabeth?"I heard Meli asked Ellie which I smiled about, their love story is amazing. Me and Ban's love story is........cliche......old.

"It's nice and I like it"Ellie said as Meli turned to me

"How about you, Sha-chan? You are my first waitress in the Boar Hat so, how's the new tavern for you?"he asked, he was so sweet

"It's cool, thanks for asking, Meli"I said as he looked at me with those curious and worried eyes but all of them didn't notice it, I knew he was worried for my health. My powers regained but I had a dream last night

~Dream~
Mother and my father were talking. It seemed like it was after mother banished me from the heavens and cursed me.

"Have you told Shamir that you will curse her along with your powers too?"father asked as I widened my eyes

"I didn't, both Goddess Elizabeth and the Demon Prince, Meliodas are they with her"mother said which made me shock

"That means, if she isn't ready........she's gonna die by her own powers..........do you meant to kill out daughter?!"father asked as mother was crying?

"NO! I DON'T INTEND ON DOING SO! I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GIVE HER MY POWER, SHE CAN CREATE ANOTHER GODDESS!"mother said which made father furious

"Oh yeah?! What if she died?! WHAT IF OUR OWN DAUGHTER DIED BECAUSE OF SO MANY CURSE YOU PUT ON HER?!"father asked as I looked at them

"I DON'T KNOW, I.......don't know"mother said as father cursed

"...........I don't know what to think of you, you put your own powers to our own daughter, not even knowing if her body will accept such large amount of power. So the curse of being a Goddess forever is a lie?"father asked as mother nodded while they were crying, so mother cursed so many about me.

Ban's POV

I saw how Shamir spaced out after Cap'n looked at her. King Bartra went towards the stage and announced something, we kept listening.

"And as for the new Great Holy Knight, I'll choose Howser"King Bartra said as Howser was shocked and was pointing at himself, I don't care at all, I only care about Shamir. Why is she so spaced out? Some time later, all the knights celebrated as me and the others stayed since King Bartra want us too.

"I have seen an omen when you and the rest of the Sins will reunite, it is foggy and the moon appears in daylight"King Bartra said as I looked at him and Cap'n questions it, I had to go to Shamir's side

"Oi, daijobu desu ka?"I asked as she snapped her head onto me which caused me to be shock.

"Uh yeah, I'm fine Ban! Totally fine!"she said as I looked at her, I knew she isn't fine. I can see through her eyes

"Shamir, I know your not fine, what's bothering you?"I asked as she waved her hands and then I looked at her, is she avoiding the question?

"Shamir, I won't stop asking if you won't tell m-------"I was cut off by Cap'n

"Ban, if she doesn't want to talk then there's no forcing her, right?"Cap'n asked as I looked at him

"Look, I have the right to ask her if she's fine, I know she's not so what's wrong about it? I am her boyfriend and your not"I said as he and I stared at each other then I suddenly got hugged on the stomach

"I'm fine, Ban! See? So don't fight with Captain"Shamir said as if she was trying to convince me and stop me from arguing with Cap'n. I stopped and just hugged her protectively then leaned down on her ear

"You can tell me whatever okay?"I asked as she nodded while we all went to Boar Hat again.
