And that's when it all came back.
When Zayn told me about this special girl she love,
-Flashback (from chapter 13)-
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"What's up?"
"I don't really want to talk about it.." I replied and sat on the bench.
"Okay. Well, can you help me with my problem?" He asked and sat beside me.
"Sure, anything for you, Zayn." I smiled.
"So, this girl I like.. We have been best friends since we were 8. We were inseparable. A few years later, I realized I have feelings for her. So um- I don't want to be specific with it but we ended up together. We were happy and all but after one accident, everything changed." He paused.
I nodded understandingly and said, "I'm sorry.."
He nodded back and continued, "So um, she forgot everything since that first day we met. Since we were 8." I gasped but signalled him to continue.
"We were separated for three years because of some family problems. And just weeks ago, I met her again."
"That's great, Zayn! But can she remember you now?" I asked.
He just shook my head. I sighed.
"Everything will be alright, okay?" I comforted him.
"What if it not?"
I didn't reply. Instead, I hugged him.
"No matter what happens, I will always be here for you. Remember that, Zayn."
"Thank you, Hayley. Well, love truly is a ruthless game." He chuckled.
I laughed, "Yes it is. Unless you play it good and right."
-End of Flashback-
The friendship, the relationship, the accident.. everything. It just all came back in me.
The memories, everything!
