Happy Birthday?

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!"

Heejin grunted while turning off her alarm and waking up. It was 6 in the morning and she didn't get any sleep last night. She would've just went to sleep again if her sister didn't storm into her room out of nowhere.

"Happy Birthday, Heejin-ie! Finally you are 18!"

Yeojin said with a big smile while almost shouting with a high pitched voice while trying to hug her sister. Heejin wasn't to fond of that but she couldn't resist her sister with her gummy smile.

"Thank you but please don't remind me of that. You know I hate this day. It was just a coincidence that i was born on this specific day. No need to celebrate."

"What are you saying? I already prepared the party, its this saturday!"

"What?! WHY?!"

"Dont be so stubborn. Just get wasted and enjoy it. But for now just get ready for school,ok?"

Heejin didn't say anything and Yeojin left.

Heejin is just trying to forget what Yeojin said and maybe it wouldn't be true then.

She got ready for school and was almost too late for her bus but she still catched it on time. She and Yeojin had to take care of everything, that's why she hasn't had breakfast in a few weeks. Their parents both died in a car accident and since then they only had each other. Heejin was depressed but she kept everything inside. She didn't want to seem weak. She missed them every day but she promised herself she would still make them proud.

She arrived at school and immediately heard a loud laugh, it was Jinsoul. Jungeun must've told another stupid joke and no one laughed except Jinsoul as always. In Jinsoul's eyes Jungeun is the funniest and most beautiful person. But what can you do, she is in love. Heejin was a little jealous of their love. She wanted that too eventough she would never admit that.

"Jinsoul why are you the only one laughing again?"
Heejin asked sarcastically.

"Shut up, Heejin." Jungeun said denfending her girlfriend.

Heejin wanted that too. Someone to protect her no matter what.

"Heyyyyy,guys, how are you all doing this beautiful morning?" Yerim asked too energetic for everyone. But that was her she was always bright and positive. Heejin was thankful for that. It helped her get trough a rough time.

"Not that positive, Yerim, please, it's too early for that." Heejin murmured.

"Alright...but guys i think you all forg-"

Hyeju jumped onto Yerim as she said that surprising her. Of course Gowon was besides her, holding hands together.

"What are you doing, Hyeju? You are scaring me. I was saying something important."

"Im sorry, continue, my lady."
Hyeju said smirking jokingly.

Gowon hit her slightly on the arm and pouting.

"I didnt hear that ok? So as I was saying, we all forgot something important today... HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEEJIN!"
Yerim shouted that last part.

The entire school could hear her and if it wasn't already a bad day for Heejin, she saw Hyunjin pass her while Yerim shouted that. Hyunjin definetly heard that but still Hyunjin didnt approach her or seem to care.

"Keep your voice down, Yerim!" Heejin said sharply.

"YES HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
Everyone exclaimed.

"Are you throwing a party? I want to get wasted as soon as possible." Hyeju asked.

"..yeah...Yeojin apparently prepared a party this Saturday."

"We will invite everyone, the whole school." Jinsoul said not leaving any room for disagreement.

"Yeah we'll see about that. But yeah i need to get wasted,too." Heejin said.

The bells rang and everyone went to their classes.

Hyunjin POV:

"Are you throwing a party? I want to get wasted as soon as possible."

'pleae say yes, say yes'

"..yeah..Yeojin apparently prepared a party this Saturday."

'yessss! fuck what am i thinking? i need to leave her alone, right? thats what she needs: space. if i push her away, she cant get hurt anymore.'
