| CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
Taehyung lays sprawled out on Jungkook's strangely comfortable couch. A black kimono is draped over him as if he's an ancient greek goddess. Taehyung gives a cat-like yawn, stretching up only to then roll over so he can watch as Jungkook sits down on the carpet in front of him. A plethora of papers is scattered out in front of him, as he busily works. A warm fuzzy feeling falls over Taehyung like a fluffy blanket fresh from the dryer on a cold winter's day. So perfectly imperfect. It almost feels like they're a domestic couple. A knock at the door summons Jungkook, pulling back the fairy tail like magic on the situation. Which makes Taehyung sigh sadly. The gang leader turns around to look at his little beauty. "What was that for?" He asks, raising a questioning eyebrow.
The kitten-like boy shakes his head, "whenever someone knocks on the door, you always disappear for hours on end," he complains. A spoiled pout plays at his lips as he sits up from his spot on the couch. Blonde tuffs of hair messily arranged atop of his head. The silky black kimono slips off his shoulder, exposing his deep collar bone, and pure caramel skin. Jungkook coos at the sight, walking back to his angel, kneeling down in front of him. The instinct to praise and worship him like the goddess he is is overpowering. Jungkook's rough, ringed fingers clasp Taehyung's smooth, elegant ones.
"Come, Doll, I'm not going to be gone for that long this time, I promise," Jungkook whispers as if anything louder will shatter Taehyung. Said blonde sighs angrily, although it comes off as more adorable than anything. Jungkook physically has to bite back a cheeky smirk, wishing to play at his lips. Suddenly, Taehyung's dainty pinky finger comes into Jungkook's view. "Are you seriously making my pinky promise?" He asks, suppressing the need to coo at his adorable boyfriend.
"What are you, a pussy? Pinky promise me, whore," Taehyung challenges, slowly slipping off the couch into Jungkook's lap. His long kimono trailing behind him. Which only exposes more of Taehyung's sinful body.
The gang leader rolls his eyes, wrapping his finger around Taehyung's, "now put your goddamn mask on. I don't want people thinking they're entitled to something as expensive as you."
Strong hands lift the pouting Taehyung back up onto the couch, "you're entitled," he grumbles under his breath. The gang leader is quick to whip back around to face his disobedient puppy.
Jungkook's chapped lips come down next to Taehyung's ear, "I will fuck you so hard into the couch to the point where you're crying, right here, right now. And whoever's outside will just have to hear you moan, beg and whine like a little bitch. Would you like that?" He whispers threateningly. A wave of crashing heat rushes over Taehyung, sending shiver upon shiver down his spine. Jungkook gives Taehyung's earlobe a final nip, before pulling back. "Now put the mask on," he commands, throwing the golden fox mask onto the couch next to Taehyung. Jungkook catches a glimpse of how Taehyung now obediently scrambles to fasten the mask to his head. It seems as though the little puppy has learnt his lesson.
The gang leader pulls back his door, revealing Hoseok and a wolf masked individual which he can only assume is Yoongi. "He wouldn't shut up," Hoseok quickly explains, pointing to the wolf mask.
"HEY!" The male yips, smacking Hoseok's bicep aggressively. Although Jungkook can imagine it didn't hurt all that bad. He merely rolls his eyes, stepping aside to let the two in.
"Taehyung is in the living room, first right, go get him," Jungkook instructs. Yoongi nods rapidly before running off to his best friend. Hoseok shakes his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Don't worry about it," Jungkook shrugs. "I've kind of been keeping him, hostage, here," the gang leader admits.
"I would too, especially with Daejung running around..." Hoseok agrees.

Important looking men sit around in the sleek new meeting room. Daejung stands in front of all of his men, sporting a brand new, pristine suit. "My men, and lady," he addresses, a sickening smile spread across his lips as he looks down to Hyejin. His bony finger running across her cheek briefly before she pulls away. A look of pure disgust and hatred written all over Hyejin's face. Her eyes burn with fire as she looks dead set into Daejung's. A direct challenge. "Play nice," Daejung comments, an obviously fake sweetness to his words. "I have brought you all here today for the official fall of Jungkook!" The gang leader announces.
A round of cheers is sent through the room. Dangerous gang members start to celebrate their soon to be success. Hyejin watches on in horror. White noise seems to fill her head, as all she sees is people celebrating their demise. How could they not see? Hyejin then looks up to the man she once loved. How far as he has gone since the day they were so lost in love, insane beyond saving. Itching to take down the big guy. Hyejin looks down at her hands, a glistening promise ring looks back up at her. She glances back up to Daejung, as he continues his plan of action, wide-eyed and on the path to his own death. This had always been their plan. Now with Daejung even further gone, with no chance of saving. Hyejin sees the time is now. Her eyes fall back onto the minimalistic ring. The small diamond winks back to her. How far has he gone?
With tearful eyes, Hyejin pulls the ring off her finger. Fiddling with it for a few moments more. Maybe there's still hope? Hyejin looks up to her ex-boyfriend. Daejung, completely unaware, points over to the poor Seokjin, locked away in a cage, like an animal. Neck and wrists chained to the floor. Seokjin's eyes have sunken into his skull, with deep blue, black and purple bruises littering all over his body. No, Hyejin decides. This is never how it should have played out. She recomposes herself, blinking back the waterfalls that want to fall. With the last of her strength, Hyejin places the glistening diamond ring on the sleek black table. Instantly gaining Daejung's attention. The gang leader gives a look of confusion before his eyes trail down to the ring sitting on the table. Another look, one of realisation.
Hyejin rises to her feet, catching the rest of the room's attention. "I'm not going to sit here anymore," she announces, turning her head to Daejung. "You're fucking insane, that was fine when you could still write a plan that would take you somewhere. I'm not staying here, you're going to kill yourself. This 'plan,' if you'd even call it that, is only going to enrage Jeon."
"That's the fucking point," one of the gang members comments, earning himself a few pats on the back from his friends and a chorus of laughter. Daejung only watches the woman he loves with no emotion as if her words are as empty as his soul.
Hyejin closes her eyes momentarily, twitching her head. "Daejung," she calls, staring deep into his eyes. "I will not attend your funeral," Hyejin declares. With her head held high, and the room now dead silent, Hyejin collects her things. Seokjin looks up at her, his eyes begging for Hyejin to take him with her. The woman can only shoot him a sympathetic look, before the sound of her heels knocking against the wooden floors signify her leaving. Leaving the man, she once loved.
