LOOKING AT THE BITTER WINTER NIGHT SKY, on a patch of damp grass, pondering on what had just happened. Not even I could explain - even to myself - or make sense as to how I got into this predicament in the first place. How to explain what was so intriguing about the boy with penetrating crystal blue eyes that filled the dark void that I once had deep down inside. As he approaches me, with every step I hears his heavy black boots that hit the ground at a steady but hurried pace. After everything that had just happened, I have no desire or strength on attempting to deny him from coming any closer. The steps seem to fade as he reaches me. There is now silence, but in that silence I know that he is now laying down next to me, both of us waiting for the other to break the incredibly dark secrecy.
