Yesss!!! I'm so excited that you picked my story to read!!! I was admittedly inspired by the "A Cinderella Story" movie with Hillary Duff. Don't judge, but I binge watched a dozen romance movies this spring break.
I really thought the character Pop Tate was SO underdeveloped in the series thus far and that's why I gave him a grand-daughter. He doesn't really say much and is glossed over way too much for how much they talk about Pop's in the series. I thought this was a great opportunity to explore a character within a family the series sort of ignores.
I'm thinking this is going to be a more slow burn fan fiction. I plan to follow as much of the Season 2 plot line as I can!
2 fun facts about me that influence this Fan Fiction:
1.) I'm a communications intern for a Domestic Violence shelter. I'm a fan of affirmative consent. Sex should feel safe, you should have the power to say no at any point. All *eventual* sex scenes in this fanfiction are going to be enthusiastic! I really get uncomfortable as a reader when I read smut in fanfictions where the men just disregard the women and it starts feeling rape-y. Even in BDSM, you have safe words and your partner is always responsive if you give queues that you feel unsafe or don't want to continue.
2.) I'm a fluff gal :) I know that not everyone loves fluff but I think it is a healthy part of every love story and I eat that shit up. In this house we will worship Jessica Tate.
