"I've learned that it's ok to be weak."

I opened one eye, and then the next. The sun from the window had slowly crept into my bedroom. I looked at my clock, 6:17.
"Another day of hell.." I said as I gripped one end of the sheets and slowly peeled them away from me. I stretched and yawned before pulling myself up and placing my feet upon the velvet carpet. I walked into my walk-in closet.
"Shorts or jeans?" I thought to myself before pulling out some black leather pants with gold trims. I scrambled through millions of clothing before finding a white crop top with black sleeves. It was plain, but casuel and that was fine with me. I placed the clothes on my bed and walked back into my closet, grabbing my jordan 12's. I looked at my outfit and smiled.
I grabbed some undergarments and ran happily into the restroom. Today was a big day and since my parents were leaving, I was going to make this special day memorable.

After showering and putting my clothes on I decided to call Shia. The phone rung briefly before Shia's Louisiana accent filled my restroom.
"Yess baby?" I laughed as I put my hair into a high ponytail.
" Hey Shia! I was calling to see if you were ready."
Shia huffed before mumbling. It was quiet momentarily before Shia spoke again, " Am I ever? Jeremih said he's going to take me, so you don't have to worry about being late."
I chuckled as I put on my cherry red lipstick. My black eyeliner was done perfectly across the top and my gold accessories really broight out the outfit.
"Well, I'll see you at 8:20?"
"Cafateria? Yunno it! "
I laughed as I hung up the phone and grabbed my keys. I fix my bed and looked over at my clock, 7:47.
I ran down out of my room and down the stairs. My mother was just setting the final plate on the table. My dad was already cutting into his pancakes.
" Dario!" My mother hissed at my father, " Did you say grace?"
My father rolled his eyes behind my mother's back, causing a giggle to escape from inbetween my lips, "Yes Farina, I did."
My mother kissed both of us on our forehead, " I have to go or im going to be late, " My mother grabbed her keys, "Be good."
I stuffed some eggs into my mouth, "I will."
My mother raised her eyebrows, "Not you silly, your father."
I laughed at the duo and finished my breakfast. My dad was reading the newspaper as I grabbed my car keys off the hook.
"See you later Daddy." He nodded as I kissed his cheek and checked the time, 8:13.
"I have to go!" I said to myself as I sprinted to the garage and opened the driver door to my sleek, black mercedes bens. I placed my key into the ignition and fixed my rearview mirror, "Let the day begin.."

I walked into the school building and looked around. Lakeside High was just about your average school. I walked towards the cafeteria just as Shia ran up to me. I laughed at her eargerness to tell the gossip of the day.
"May I sit first?"
Shia walked with me through the double doors of the cafateria and sat with me at a secluded table in the far back. She sat opposite from me and smiled big.
"So, There's this new boy—" I huffed and placed my head in my hands, "Shia, No."
Shia huffed and pouted, "Let me explain first, damn." I looked up at her as she continued, "His name is Tre'Maine and he so fine girl! Don't tell Jeremih I said that either!" I laughed and grabbed my phone, I clicked instagram and begin to scroll down my newsfeed, " This involves me because?"
Shia pinched my shoulder, "Ouch!"
"This involves you because im tired of seeing you look so lonely. "
I looked up from my phone as my mouth dropped, "I do not!" I protested.
Shia folded her arms across her chest, "You do, now atleast try and talk to him, " Shia pouted, "For daddy Shia."
I giggled at Shia's goofiness and rolled my eyes, "Fine, " I said as the bell rung, "You owe me! Party at my house, invite everyone!"
I slung my purse over my shoulder and walked out of the cafateria with Shia before we separted. The hallways was crowded and just as the bell rung I stepped into Pre-Calculus.
"Next to Tre'Maine." Ms.Harlem said as I walked to the only available set. I wasn't going to lie, the boy was lowkey fine, but not my type .
I sat in my seat and grabbed my notebook from underneath my desk.
"Ouch!" We both said at the same time as our heads collided. We had both reached at the same time.
" I am so sorry.."
I looked at him and rubbed my forehead, "Marsha."
He smiled and handed me my notebook, "Marsha, such a pretty name for a pretty girl."
I smiled and said thank-you. Maybe he's not so bad.
