'Let me begin with the fact that this happened at my house, in the attic. I actually believe it is still present at the moment.'
Daniella started. I had frightened look on my face. I had no clue what I could expect.
'I believe it was 3 years ago. My aunt had this story that the house we live in is haunted. While you know I don't believe in that shit, I still had my doubts. So one day I decided I wanted to check it out myself. You know the size of my house, and the attic is the same size. It is huge. The stairs itself are pretty scary. But I wasn't scared of anything. At least that is what I thought. When I set foot in the attic I knew something wasn't right. But I went in anyway. From that moment on I can't remember a lot. The only thing that haunted me till this day, is the mirror. In the attic is a huge mirror which stands out because of its golden edges. I looked into the mirror and everything went black. I woke up the next day in my bedroom.'That Ciara and I looked shocked, was an understatement. My first reaction would be laughter. But that didn't feel right. Daniella stared at the floor when she was finished.
'Daniella are you fucking with us, or is this a legitimate story?' I asked after a silence that could have been an hour long.
Daniella looked up and gave me a deathly stare.
'You really think I would lie about this? Yes Eliza, it is real.' Okay she is mad. I quickly walked to her and enveloped her in a hug. 'Sorry Dani, but it sounds so peculiar. I believe you though!' Ciara walked to us en we were in a big group hug.
'You know, Daniella and Ciara, I dare you girls to go up the attic and see for yourselves.' My mouth hang open.
'Daniella are you mental?! You really think we can go there after this story?'
Danielle sighed, 'If you want to know what I've seen, you have to see it for real.'Ciara looked as if she's seen a ghost. Me on the other hand was more curious.
'Okay, I think I want to check it out.'
I nodded. Daniella looked at me with a big smirk on her face.
'You're crazy but I love you for that.'
'I know you do.'
We grabbed our stuff and we drove back to the house.
Ciara was the entire ride home very silent. Daniella tried to get a word out of her, but without success. Daniella and I started talking about boys an what we thought of the new exchange student.
