The Mars incident

March 4 2030
This is sergeant James Philips. I am writing this due to an incident resulting in large structural damage on Luna (the Earths moon). We have since moved to Mars: the construction crew has been here for just over a year. In the time the workers have been on mars they managed to build 12 bases : Alpha, Beta, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Gamma, Hotel, India, Juliet, Kilo and Lima .I run Lima. each base includes mech garages, standard truck garages,exo workstations for modding personal exos and an armory ,there is also a coms building in each base.there are 11 smaller bases and a main base the general is posted there.there are also standalone outpost scattered across the surface of mars.The other military guys and I have just arrived , the bases were finished a week ago, the company wants us here to keep the peace between the workers and solve any issues that involve force. there was an issue between two workers this morning the armory was just finished and the two were having a disagreement about the working conditions, the argument got heated and one of them bashed the others head in with a large hammer. The "death sentence"on mars is being forced into one of the Martian ice rivers. Anyway its time for dinner tonight its meat loaf so this is sergeant James Philips signing off.

Last night's meatloaf was dry as the dirt on the martian surface and the water tasted like mud but that's what this life en tales bad food and worse drinks, there have been no incidences since yesterday, also my morning coffee was terrible anyway this is sergeant James Philips signing off

March 30th 2030
Today the terraforming is in its decorative stages and they are bringing in a large shipment of assorted trees, I miss birch its probably the most useful I can think of anyway it'll be arriving in a few days I am sending my best troops to do a stow away investigation. the colonists arrive in a few weeks so I need to finish my report day of if possible, I need to stay up and finish my reports sooner, I've been cutting it to close lately I'm hoping deadlines will no longer be an issue once I get this report done its getting late so this is sergeant James Phillips signing off.

April 2nd 2030 7:30 am

Its the day of the arrival of the trees well I guess I should say half of them the second transport has encountered a major delay, some phsyco killed the ships sec team and there maintenance crew over some mad ramblings about there being a bunch of eggs of some sort in the trees on board they were half way here when it happened , it'll be another three days till the remaining trees get here in the mean time I have a cargo search to conduct and a report to right so this is sergeant James Philips signing off.

April 2nd 2030 21 00 pm

The first transport has been thoroughly searched there was no sign of any stow aways on board the transport we even did a radar scan on the trees and found no signs of any eggs so the official theory is that the second shuttles stow away was just utterly insane, also we believe he got on board by stumbling on while no one was looking and passed out somewhere then when he woke up went on his little rampage. either way he shot himself out of the airlock so we wont be returning him to the nut house, anyway I'm hoping the rest of this job goes over without anymore complications also sadly there were no birch trees on board but there is on the second transport. this is sergeant James Philips signing off.

The Replacement crew for the second shuttle has boarded and have resumed the transports mission we are expecting it to arrive tomorrow morning i will be required to do the same search when it does, then it'll be time to eat its going to be meatloaf again so I might just skip it depends how little I get to eat before. We have lost all communications with the transport they have definitely reached the skyline but it seems abandoned they aren't following the proper decent protocols in fact it looks like its falling out of the sky if it is then I don't think Ill be inspect anything more then dust in a crater, the pods have just launched but its already too late
