Chapter 3 : Sorry Enough

       As I was getting out of Raheem's car my phone started ringing. It was in my bag so I just looked at my Apple Watch to see who was calling. I felt my heart drop in my ass when I saw Amir's name on the little screen. I knew Rah had seen it by his tone of voice as I finished getting out the car. All I could do is chuckle at his attitude.

      I unlocked my door to my apartment and immediately heard yelling. I sighed knowing it was the twins. I walked to my room to put my things down and then went to the living room where the twins were.

"Kyla , you're drunk and you're really starting to piss me off. Shut the fuck up and leave me alone or fight me. Which one?" Kylie said clearly frustrated.

"Hold the fuck up. Y'all do know it's 3:00am right ? Y'all do know my parents live downstairs right? Y'all are not about to fucking fight right now." I said looking at them.

"Nobody fucking asked for your opinion Kennedy!" Kyla snapped.

"And I don't give a fuck if your asked or not. I said what the fuck I said already Kyla." I stated walking back to my room. "Now goodnight." I said slamming my door.

I plopped down on my bed sighing. Amir came to my mind and I couldn't help but feel guilty. I feel like I betrayed him because we had plans. Serious plans , we were saving up to move in together. Which is what Jashawn was speaking about at the party.  I shook my head and got up deciding to get out of my party attire. I went into my bathroom , and started taking my contacts out. As I finished my phone started ringing. I looked down at my Apple Watch to see Amir calling again. I sighed deciding to answer this time. I walked over to my MacBook and answered from there.

"Hello." I answered nervously.

"Why you ain't answer the first time I called ?" He question. 

"I was getting out the car trying to get in the house." I stated truthfully.

"You sure you wasn't with that nigga?" He asked rubbing his chin.

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah Jay called me. But what I don't understand Kennedy is , we just spoke the other day so why you ain't tell me then ?" He said growing angry.

"First of all Amir I need you to relax. Second, when I spoke to you there was nothing to tell. I wasn't dealing with him , we just started talking a few days ago. Am I suppose to inform you as soon as I start talking to somebody?" I asked getting up from the computer.

"Yes Kennedy , especially if you gonna be out in public flaunting the nigga !" He yelled.

I chuckled. "I'm not flaunting anybody. And I'm not doing this with you , it's almost 3:30am. I'm gonna take a shower and get in my bed. We can finish this conversation when you calm yo ass down until then Good Night Amir." I finished.

"I'll be seeing yo ass Kennedy. Goodnight babygirl." He said hanging up.

I just shook my head and started walking to the bathroom. When my phone rang again.

"OMFG!!" I yelled out turning around. I looked at the screen and seen it was Rah.  I slowly walked back over to the computer and hit answer.
