Chapter 3 "Jerk!!"

Once inside, Titus unraveled his coat and allowed Sphintus to exit out of that cramped area. Titus took off his coat and hung it up in his closet, he felt a little uncomfortable as he never had another person in his dorm, but Sphintus was a cat right now so it didn't matter. He unzipped his boots and placed them by the door before flopping onto his very soft and comfortable bed. Oh how great it is to be the most powerful magician in school! Titus received special treatment from everyone, it was sort of uncomfortable, but it was good to have that sort of favouritism among the teachers.
Now that his mood had improved, he went to look at Sphintus, who was just laying on his carpet, kind of looking dead.
“Hey kitty!~”
“I’m not a cat. I know I am in a cat’s body but if anything I would be a dog!” Sphintus lifts his head, tilting it slightly, his piercing eyes had some sort of softness to them. At that moment, Titus felt his heart skip a beat. He felt as if his face would flush red at any moment! He didn’t want to let Sphintus see him like that! He would make fun of him, but it wasn’t like Titus cared about his opinion or anything…

Titus reaches his hand out with the intent of caressing Sphintus’ head, cooing out to him in order to relax his nerves. As his hand touched Sphintus’ head, it seems as if Sphintus has calmed down a little more. Titus began getting carried away and started rubbing his thumb against the back of Sphintus’ ear. As cats do when they’re happy, Sphintus starts to purr and pressed his head into Titus' hand. It felt so soft and silky, Sphintus was adorable! Titus, on the verge of exploding, suddenly picked Sphintus up and brought him to his chest before smothering his face with small pecks.
"NNnh!! Titus!! St-stop!!"
"You're so adorable!! Even though you're a huge asshole, you're so cute!! You're making my heart swoon!!"
"Hgn… This… This is embarrassing…"
"What's so embarrassing? There's nobody here to judge you!"  Sphintus looks away in a huff. Titus pouted before letting Sphintus down, he looked out the window and noticed that the sun was almost setting, he figured that all the mess that had happened had passed the time very quickly.
"It will be communal supper time soon, I'll be sure to save you some food. What do you want?"
"Could you bring back bread, some steak, and mashed potatoes for me?"
"Of course Sphintus Weentus you cutie patootie! Do you want a cat bowl too, fur ball?" Titus teasingly joked at Sphintus.
"Oh my god, okay. Screw off fatass."
Titus exclaims, "you LOVE this fatass don't you?" before starting to laugh.
"JUST GO GET ME SOME FOOD ALREADY, GOD DAMN IT!!"
"Okay, okay!!" Titus calms himself, then puts on his boots once again, not bothering to wear his uniform coat. "Bye-bye honey!! See you soon!~" Titus snickers as he leaves his dorm, shutting the door behind him before Sphintus had a chance to swear obscenities at him.

Time passes by and Titus returns to his door to find a sleeping cat. Titus was feeling dazed and was quite sleepy as well, he thought he would only dine for an hour but he ended up staying longer as per request of Mogamett. Around 4 hours have gone by since he left his dorm, his heels hurted and he just wanted to rest and maybe cuddle with his cat!

Oh wait.

Titus slams his door shut before exclaiming,
“AAAAARGH!! HE ISN’T MY CAT!! HE IS SPHINTUS STUPID CARMEN!!”
“H-Huh??” The sudden yelling had awoken Sphintus’ slumber, he was up and a grumpy cat. Ugh! How annoying! Oh wait! Sphintus remembered that Titus had brought food! Took long enough..!
Titus blushed, he really did need to get his outloud thinking habit fixed.
“U-Uh, hey kitty! I brought back foo-”, before Titus could continue Aladdin rushes into the room, tackling Titus.
“I’ve been watching you two!! You are getting along, as exchange,” Aladdin says proudly before composing himself,
“Aladdin, you sound like an evil witch granting us a gift.”
“Shh- let me continue. In exchange I will reverse the magic a little bit.”
“AAAAAAAAA-”
“Just let Aladdin speak!”
“I’ll split the spell! I actually don’t know how to reverse it entirely but if I keep dispersing the transformation magic, it will eventually wear off as it isn’t connected to the host, the host being Sphintus!”
“Okay….. And?”
“That means I’ll have to split the magic so that it goes into both of your guys’ magoi.”
“What? Wh-what would that do?”
“It will let Sphintus back into his human form, but you guys will become… Nekos!”

Sphintus eagerly nods his head at Aladdin, completely disregarding what Titus had to say.

“Hey now, no need to be so reckless-”
“OKayyy! Casting the spell now!!”
“No Aladdin, listen to m-”, and before Titus could complete his sentence, Aladdin chanted out his spell, shooting magic from out of his staff. The light engulfed the room, smoke filled Titus’ dorm.

Aladdin coughed, fanning the air around him with his arm, attempting to clear out the smoke around him. He carefully walked towards the window, opening it to let the smoke leave the room.
“Hey guys..? You okay?” Aladdin coughed out.
As the smoke cleared out, it revealed Titus on the ground, coughing a little bit. He seemed dazed and confused. Aladdin looked around, trying to find Sphintus and in no time he sees Sphintus who is also on the floor. He… He was naked.

Titus stood up and opened his eyes, he looked around and spotted Sphintus, immediately becoming flustered and covering his eyes.
“SPh-SPH-SPHINTUS!!”
As Titus yelled Sphintus’ name, Sphintus gained composure and stood up absentmindedly.
“Wh-What…? Oh my god! I can.. I can talk out of my mouth!
Titus fumbled over to Aladdin, shielding his eyes while looking away.
“Sphintus! You’re naked!!”
“H-Huh?”
“Aladdin!! Leave!”
Titus pushed Aladdin out of his dorm room and slammed the door shut. “Put some clothes on, Sphintus!”

Sphintus covered himself up with a sheet and during the process Titus was looking away. Titus then noticed something peeking out of his uniform, it was moving? As Titus looked a little closer at his behind, Sphintus attempted to fix his hair before notices a pair of cat ears on his head. Sphintus was speechless! He looked over at the blonde boy, and as he did, Titus yelped and fell back onto Sphintus, sending both of them tumbling onto Titus’ bed.

They looked at eachother, the light of the moon shining onto them through the window of Titus’ dorm. It illuminated the gold accents on Titus’ bed.
Sphintus landed on top of Titus, sort of pinning him down onto the lovely sheets that adorned Titus’ bed. As Sphintus looked down at Titus, he noticed that Titus also had cat ears! He looked so cute- STUPID!

Titus opened his eyes, gasping once he realized what kind of position the two were in! If someone were to walk in, they would believe they were doing something compromising!
“You pervert!! I saw you looking at me! Just because I look like a cute girl doesn’t mean I’m interested in you!” Titus yelled as he shoved Sphintus off of him. He felt wrong when he said that for some reason, he liked Sphintus, but he didn’t have feelings for him.. Right? If Scheherazade were here, she would have told Titus to stop dawdling and to continue his ‘mission’.

As Sphintus was shoved off of Titus, he heard those sharp words and in all honesty, that kind of stung. It shouldn’t have hurt though, he’s not interested in Titus.. Or is he?
“You’re the pervert here! You thought I would actually do anything?! In your dreams, brat!” Sphintus yelled back, that felt wrong. He feels as if he shouldn’t have said that.
Titus revolted at Sphintus’ words, that really hurt for some reason, it shouldn’t though.
Titus could feel tears well up in his eyes, he did not blink as a poor attempt to keep the tears from falling. He slapped Sphintus before standing up, grabbing Sphintus, and throwing him out of his dorm. He did this without thinking about what kind of situation Sphintus was in! He just got kicked out of a pretty person’s room, with cat ears and a tail wearing nothing but a sheet!

Titus slammed the door behind Sphintus before retreating to his bed in a huff. Titus slid underneath his sheets and moved around uncomfortably with his new cat ears and tail. It was an extremely weird feeling to him, but he didn’t want to get up and change into different apparel. He was too emotionally exhausted for this. Titus cuddled up in his bed, holding a pillow close to him. Why did Sphintus’ words hurt so much? This was so stupid! Titus drifted off to sleep, hoping the next day would make Aladdin fix the mess he made.
