"College!?" all my friends said when I told them what my dad said.

"I know." I said and crossed my arms.

"I can't believe your dad would make you go to college." my brother laughed and we all looked at him.

"What." I said.

"You two really don't know why he is doing this?" we all looked at him as he pointed at Myung Dae and I. He came closer and pinched my cheek, "Because you're a spoiled brat Kyung Mi." he laughed again. I pushed him away.

"Very funny."

"It's not a lie. We warned you that your attitude was getting out of hand." he became stern.

"Look it wasn't even that much of a bad thing."

"You looked like you wanted to kill the poor guy." Jung Hwa said. I looked over to him then he shrugged.

"It's not even a bad thing. You were taking college courses anyway." Ae Ra said. "Now you just have to take them at a college instead of through private lessons." They don't know how I feel so they wouldn't understand.

"We all went to that college as well so you shouldn't worry. We can show you around." Myung Dae said trying to cheer me up.

"Let's just talk about it later." I pushed past my brother and walked towards the front door. As a family we had to greet our guests so I just decided to go see if my grandfather had arrived. I got to the main room and saw my grandfather sitting down with my parents. I froze because he looked upset and I was about to walk away, but he looked up and saw me.

"Kyung Mi." he said and motioned for me to go over to him. He stood up and hugged me. "My little girl," he said surprisingly sweetly.

"Grandfather." I said.

"Now now. No excuses." he said as he sat back down, "Your father told me what happened."

"But I can't go to college. You know why."

-----

"I'll go after her." I said and walked closely behind her. My friends stayed behind and were talking among themselves.

"But I can't go to college. You know why." I heard Kyung Mi say. I stayed in the hall and decided to let them talk this through on their own.

"Kyung Mi!" her grandfather said loudly. I closed my eyes in frustration. I didn't want her to have a hard time nor did I like seeing it.

"Grandfather. What if it happens again?" I heard her say.

"Happen again?" I said to myself.

"We will discuss it tonight." her grandfather said. I heard Kyung Mi start crying.

"You will get through this. We are with you and your friends are too." I decided to walk out and I bowed to her grandfather and her parents.

"Kyung Mi?" She turned around and then hugged me. I wrapped my arms around her and slowly brushed her hair. "It's okay. Don't worry I will be here for you." she nodded and she looked at me.

"I'm going to go fix my makeup. Can you come with me?" I nodded and excused myself. Her parents and grandparents nodded and we both walked away.

"Kyung Mi? What is really worrying you?" I said as we walked up to her room, "You know you can tell me anything you want right?"

"It's nothing. Just anxiety."

"You haven't been to school since you studied abroad. I get it." I said.
