A/N: I do not hate Alex Turner. Some swearing.
I woke up the shrill sound of my alarm and checked the time. 9:30 a.m. Shit I was already behind my schedule. I quickly get up and take a quick shower before changing into a black shirt, some skinny jeans, and my pair of white converse. On my way out the door I grab my phone, keys, and jean jacket. I rushed to my car and quickly start driving to the location of my job interview. They said to dress casual over the phone when I asked about a dress code so I wasn't too worried. When I was near the location I pulled up the address on my phone and looked for a parking spot nearby. After getting out of the car I read the numbers off the buildings to see where I needed to go. My building number was nowhere to be seen and the only building with no number was a venue looking location. Weird. Thinking the recruiters may have rented out the place I walk up to the door. There's no security to let me in so I assume the doors are open. I manage to pull open the door and I walk in. The place seems empty and I see a long hallway and decide to walk down it to see if there's anyone that can help me. Before I make it down the hallway I see a man walking towards me. As soon as we come face to face he immediately blows out his cigarette smoke into my face.
"Are you my assistant?" The man asks me while I wave the smoke out of my face.
"Your assistant? I'm only here for a job interview." I state.
"Great then you'll be my assistant congratulations. Name's Julian." He says as a matter of fact. I can't help but be bewildered, I had never applied to be someone's assistant.
"Okay so what I'll need you to do is test my mics make sure they're all ready when we play, and go get me any necesseties. Okay? Cool." Julain tells me quickly.
"Wait hold on I think there's a misunderstanding here-" I start but get quickly cut off by Julian saying,
"There's no misunderstanding. Just assist me and get paid. Simple."
I've never been more confused but before I can even continue arguing Julian leaves to join a group of other guys. He waves me over and I quickly walk to the group.
"This is Albert, Nick, and Nikolai," Julian introduces.
"We also have a drummer named Fabrizio but that fucking pussy is late again." He says bothered.
"Anyways guys this is the new assistant uh..." Julian trails off looking to me for help.
"Y/n, it's very nice to meet you all." I say introducing myself. All the guys shake my hand and after a small briefing they run off to their places on stage.
"We'll just be doing sound check quickly so hang tight for now." Julian tells me. I nod and find a place to stand near backstage. They begin the soundcheck and I notice the door opening once again. Curious I turn to see who's walked in and I notice a couple have walked in. Before I can tell Julian about it I hear the man say,
"Julian why didn't you tell me you were playing a show here so we could've hung out sooner."
Julian hears this and immediately becomes upset and filled with anger.
"How the fuck did you get in, which security let you in I'm going to fire his ass." I hear Julian yell out. As the man ssays something in reply I notice Julian looking for something on stage. I see him grab his microphone as he shouts,
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE," and throws the mic. I move to the side to avoid being hit but the man also ducks and begins running away after the incident. Julian yells for security but by the time they arrive the couple have left.
"Who was that and why do you hate him so much?" I ask Julian.
"That. Was Alex Turner. He's been trying to get into the band for yesrs but I won't let him. He likes pretending we're cool and always asks to hang." Julian says frustrated.
"If you ever catch sight of him again kick him out immediately or have him arrested I don't care as long as he stays away." Julian tells me while walking off. All of this dilemma only happening within fifteen minutes of me being here has definitely left me scared for what the rest of this job had in store for me. But working for someone as attractive as Julian definitely seems worth the effort.
