The Ending

There were nice cushy leather seats and tables that seemed to float. There were also giant windows through which you could see the giant station spread out before us, with millions of nymphs and sometimes random animals or humans.

Ben noticed it too and asked: ”Wait so there are non-nymphs around here too? Are they getting banished too?

“Yep. King Elroi does not have a very good security system.” She said.

The train started moving and pretty soon the view changed to vast countrysides with raindrop farms and pastures with unicorns. I dozed of pretty soon cause I was really tired of the long day of walking around and climbing the mountain.

I was suddenly woken up by a heavy jolt. The train had stopped. It was pitch black outside. I looked around. Everyone was sitting up and rubbing their hands in their eyes and looking around. The train started moving again. It was ok, nothing was wrong. It was probably just a runaway unicorn on the tracks. The train was gaining speed, faster and faster. Faster than it had been before it stopped. It went faster still, faster than I thought the train could go. The train whooshed along, air whizzing around the windows, knocking things and people over. There was something wrong here, I could feel it. I got up and started walking towards the front, where the locomotive was. I smelled something behind me and when I looked I saw Ben had followed me. Behind him were Hiawatha and Sable, both looking sleepy and grumpy. I started walking.

We passed lots of coaches with scared people and staff members. We all fell over about 3 times, except of Ben because he could hold on the the roof. Finally we made it to a large iron door with a sign saying: NO ENTRY. I stepped inside anyway. Inside was...no one. it was completely empty. No one behind the drivers seat, no one controlling the fast moving train. This was not good. I walked towards the seat and looked at the controls. Lots of knobs, levers and buttons faced me. Suddenly I saw one labelled: SPEED. It was on 250 KMs per hour. That was WAY too much. An average speed train is only allowed 200 KMs per hour on a flat stretch (I learned that from Minnehaha while she was studying back when she wanted to become a train driver). I checked out the window. We were going up a mountain. Not a flat stretch at all. I took the know and turned it way down to 150 KMs an hour. The train jolted again but was now going at a much better speed.

“Where are the drivers?” I asked. No one knew. Suddenly, I saw a door opening behind Sable. A black figure with wings and a cape stepped out. He looked really surprised to see us here.

“what are you doing here?” He asked. Then he seemed to get his bearings and snarled. It was a very mean snarl, and I didn’t like him.

“Its a storm spirit” Sable said quietly, “and this is probably a raid on the train.” Uh oh.

“You shouldn’t be here! Go back inside! I am..uh...the new driver! And your not supposed to be here anyway!” The storm spirit said angrily.

“Actually I think you aren’t supposed to be here. I hereby invalidate your train drivers license because you crossed the speed limit!” I said angrily.

“Oh yeah! Well you can’t get rid of me that easily!” He pounced on us with what I saw were silver fangs. Ben tried to swipe at him, but he dodged and raked his claws on the bears hide. Ben let out a low moan. I couldn’t stand to hear a fellow bear in distress like that and that gave me the courage to jump on the cloud spirit and try to...do something. I didn’t know exactly what. But apparently my paws were too soft and he simply threw me across the room into a heap in the corner. that hurt. I watched as Hiawatha came into action and tried to punch him, but to no avail, he just kicked him in the stomach and sent him sprawling. Sable was smart tough, and she had climbed onto the dashboard and now leaped on him, taking him by surprise. He was knocked over with Sable holding him down. But the he was stronger and I could see she wouldn’t be able to keep it up much longer. I quickly got up and sat on his chest. Hiawatha got up too and pinned the spirit’s legs. Then Ben groaned and got up and shooed us all away and then simply held him by his two arms, legs hanging in the air. The storm spirit groaned. I felt proud for my valuable contribution to the effort.
