I was holding my first-ever child, humming quietly, the way I had seen Cissy do to make Draco fall asleep. My little girl was a month younger than Draco and I was surprised at how the dark lord had excepted my little girl.

Dale Wren Lestrange. Rebastan, my husband chose her first name. It was a little too soft for my liking, but I let him keep it. I chose Wren since she had her father's boyish ways from the start.

She was sleeping peacefully after giving me a hard time. Draco was the same as Narcissa. Lucius and Rebastan were almost never home, and when they were they were always lying in bed asleep. The dark lord has been quite reluctant to visit his two little future death eaters. For once he confessed to not liking it when little children cry, and always feel guilty. Lucius and Rebastan are covering the missions for me and Cissa. The dark lord promised to go easy on them, but since when did the dark lord keep promises? I never even planned on getting children, but the moment I saw my little girl, I felt the need to protect her with all my life!

Once Dale was asleep, I put her back in her crib and lay down on the bed next to it. I was so tired that the moment my head hit the pillow, I was asleep. Taking care of a child was tiring, but having a child to grow is satisfying.

BLAST!!! I woke to the sound of the front door get slammed open as if it was knocked off its hinges! I grabbed Dale from her crib, who was now curiously looking at me with wide eyes. I took my wand off the bedside table and dashed down the stairs, towards the living room. As I got closer I could hear Cissy yelling "Get out of my house! Now!" I knew well enough that someone really upset her, otherwise she never yells. I tightened my grip on Dale and quickened my pace. I stopped in the doorway in the living room and saw none other than Albus Dumbledore and my own cousin, Sirius Black! I was petrified! I knew why they had come. They wanted my daughter! It was reasonable but still cruel! I tried to make a run for it, but Sirius saw me and used magic to pull me back. I could feel Dale slip out of my grip. I watched as Dale floated into Dumbledore's hands, while Sirius tied me to a chair, alongside Narcissa. At least she was still holding her own son. My sister was tied up as well and next to her, lying unconscious on the floor was Rebastan. Lucius was lying unconscious closer to Dumbledore. I was close to tears, I could see Cissy was crying too because her cheek was damp and streaks of tear marks were to be seen. "please! don't hurt her! I'd do anything! Please!" I begged. I was desperate to make sure she wouldn't get hurt. "Our work here is done! Come along Sirius, time to go!" Dumbledore said in a jolly voice. I was now crying quietly, Sirius smirked and followed Dumbledore out, who was still holding, the now asleep, Dale. As the door shut behind them the magic which bound us to the chairs was gone. I ran outside, hoping they would still be there, but they were gone. Nothing but a mist from their apparition remained. "I will find you, Dale Wren Lestrange!" I shouted in frustration, depression, and anger.
