(This message was posted on Smile but for the the people that don't read that book or just didn't read the message)

We need to let you know that we will be off Wattpad for like 2 weeks maybe a little longer. This is due to family matters and we'll be taking a trip, and we won't have the ability to be on Wattpad.

We apologize and we're deeply sorry because we love talking to all of you. You guys always make us laugh and sometimes blush with your incredibly and unnecessarily nice comments. Like seriously, why are you all so nice and funny??? It's unfair.

This will be a short chapter but wanted to get at least one out before we leave.

Also just realized there's a mistake, I put that they played Bad Guy on the radio....but this takes place before...

Oops!

Readers POV

"Dude she's hot as fuck, why are you wasting time fighting with her?" My friend(?) Miguel questions as we eat the shitty frozen chicken from the cafeteria.

He wasn't exactly a friend, more just like one of the only kids I can kinda stand at this school.

But even then he managed to annoy countless times a day.

"You've never met her, and besides, I've know her since she was like 10. I've seen her at her worst, not very attractive" I say making him sigh.

But what did you expect?

Of course I wasn't gonna say that we have this weird semi-friends with benefits.

"Okay so you don't like her, and she's single, so...do you think would go out with me?" He asks with a smirk and cocked brow.

The look in his eye told me he wasn't looking for an actual relationship.

And I expect it, because he wasn't really a settle down kind of guy.

I knew he would just do a quick fuck, and then brag about it to the rest of the idiotic kids in this hell of a school.

And that's what made my blood boil.

And before I knew it I had him pinned to the ground, while I gave him a quick punch in the face.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" The dumbass students around us chanted. These people would probably want me to kill Miguel just for their amusement. It was sickening.

But what was even more sickening was the crack from Miguel's nose as my knuckles made contact with it.

His blood dripped on my knuckles and down to his mouth.

"Stop you two!!" Two teachers had to pull me away from a bleeding, and almost passed out Miguel.

My breathing and heartbeat slowed back down to normal as I was dragged away to the principal's office.

It wasn't anything new, this office was practically another one of my classes.

I sat there looking around the room at nothing in particular, while Miguel sat next to me with toilet paper up his nose.

"So...what happened?" Principal Rooney questions hiding his anger, but I could easily recognize his vocal patterns.

"This lunatic!" Miguel explains first, point at me accusingly. "Fucking attacked me out of nowhere! He randomly pinned me to the floor and punched me!"

"Aww, thank you for recognizing my swift movements" I shoot him a fake polite smile, placing a hand over my heart.

"Mr. L/n" Principal Rooney says in a warning voice. He had clearly gotten familiar with my tones as well.

"Would you like to tell your side, Mr. L/n?" Principal Rooney asks.

"His side?!" Miguel exclaims but the principal quiets him with one quick hand movement.

"First of all, I thought we were on first name terms already, Ernie" He clearly wasn't very amused. "And second, I plead guilty because I know all those idiots out there are gonna argue against me"

I shrug before standing up, already used to getting in trouble.

"Am I suspended or do I have a lot of detention? Also have you called my mom?" I quickly ask taking Ernie–oh wait, I'm sorry! Principal Rooney, by surprise.

But he just sighed and signed a sheet of paper.

"4 weeks detention and your mom was busy, so we called you emergency contact" He explains already tired of my shit I could tell.

"You're just gonna let him go with only 4 weeks detention? Just like that? He could've killed me!" Miguel exclaims making me roll my eyes in annoyance.

"You should join the acting club, drama queen" I growl but he didn't seem to get it. Not that I'm surprised. He was never the brightest.

"It was nice seeing you, Ernie" I do a polite wave to him with a charming smile.

He rolled his eyes but I could tell he wanted to smile. My bullshit and problems were annoying to him, but we've grown close.

I walk out of the school and see Maggie and Patrick waiting for me. Billie and Finneas were in the car laughing at me.

But both momma and pops looked so upset it took me by surprise.

"Y/n what were you thinking? You could've gotten seriously hurt!" Momma exclaims more worried for my well being than was I caused.

"I know and I'm sorry" It hurt to have upset them, more than I expected.

"Did you at least kick his ass?" Pops asks upsetting Maggie further. She smacked his stomach with a glare.

"Right, sorry" Patrick puts his head down.

Maggie smiles victoriously before getting into the car.

"And I totally did" I whisper making pops smile. He high fives me with a laugh before we both get in the car.

"Yo why did you get in a fight with him?" Billie asks when I plop down next to her. I look into her icy eyes and couldn't help but smile.

"He was being an idiot, so I kicked his ass and had him crying like a baby" I shrug making Billie and Finn laugh.

"That's my best friend" Finneas grins, high diving me quietly as to not upset Maggie further.

No one spoke throughout the ride, only the radio played loudly through the car.

Billie nudged my arm making me look at her.

Her eyes had an almost knowing look. Like if she knew something was up.

"What?" I question, furrowing my brows at her suspiciously. Her gaze made me feel nervous yet calm at the same time, weirdly.

"Nothing" She shakes her head with a smile that was upsettingly adorable.

She's acting different.

But I kinda like it.
