I slumped hard in the couch as I lay my head against it, staring up to the ceiling. My eyes couldn't help but swell with tears as I saw her slowly leaving the pack, leaving me. She thought I ran away but no, I cant. I peeked through the woods and saw her leaving.d

I didnt even had the chance to say how much I was head over heels for her. My wolf whimpered at the thought of losing her. Somehow we both get attached to Athena for the long time we spent with each other. We both know that she isnt our mate yet it didnt stop us to feel sad knowing she left us with his mate.

How I wish I have a mate like her. Like Athena. Dang! I really wish it was Athena!

"Drew." My head snapped towards the direction of the voice. It was Alpha Zeus. Athena's twin. The former Alpha— Poseidon, their father— stepped down from his throne and gave Zach the position since he's his only male child and the fact that he already found his mate.

"Let's talk." 

My eyebrows furrowed as I tilted my head to the side, staring at him intently. Zeus was never serious. It only happens like once in a blue moon. He only get serious when it comes to something that may affect the pack or somebody special to him. My jaw hardened at the thought of something bad that could happen to Athena as she was on her way to her new pack. Damn, I swear I'll kill her jackass mate if he failed on protecting her. 

"Sit." Alpha Zeus offered as his hand waved towards the couch in front of him. We're on the left wing of the  pack house where his office is located. I gave him a small smile as I sit on the couch with my arms placed above my legs, my hands clasped and my body leaned forward.Alpha Zeus is leaning on his table, his arms crossed and his body tensed further as he shake his head as if he's debating on something in his mind. 

"Drew. I know how much you love this pack, but there's something I need you to do." He said, his voice hard. "I want you to follow Athena on the Black Moon Pack. You have to stay there for the meantime. I want you to send me information on how his mate treat her. I want to be assured that his mate treats her properly. And the only man capable to do this is you, Drew. Can I trust you with this?"

My eyes widened as my lips slightly parted in shock. A chance to be with Athena again? Hell yeah! My face broke into a grin as I nodded repeatedly. Surely, my excitement cant be masked. 

A ghost of smile touched Zeus' lips and soon he was grinning at me. "Dude, you look gay." He said as he clasped my hand, shaking it before punching my arm playfully. "I know how much you miss her, so Im giving you a chance. Its like hitting two birds with one stone." He said and chuckled softly before heading to sit on his chair and placing his game face on. 

"Thank you Alpha. Its an honor. I'll head to them as soon as possible." I said and hurriedly ran downstairs towards my room.
