Chapter 3

"Why hello there, child." A dark figure walked towards Natsume.

"W-Who are you?" Natsume whimpered.

"Your best friend, just let me in, child." The dark figure chuckled.

"No! Get away from me!"

"Do NOT disobey me!" The dark figure snapped.

Natsume started to cry, shouting for help.

"It's no use." The dark figure laughed as it lunged at Natsume.

And Natsume's vision went dark.

Natsume sat up straight, right on the cave floor. But the thing is, she was alone. Touma, Ruka, and Akinori were gone.

"H-Hello?" Natsume shivered, she felt like someone or someTHING were behind her.

"Touma? Ruka? Akinori?" Natsume called, no one answered.

She passed by so many dead bodies, lying on the ground.

"What happened in here..?" Natsume thought.

And so, a dead body raised right behind her, and she screamed.

"Ugh.. what happened?" Touma held his head, sitting up. He looked towards his right and saw Ruka. His expression turned into disgust.

"Why do i have to be on the same team as you?!" Touma said as he stood up, "I have to find Natsume."

"Hey! I will find her." Ruka said, "After all, i'm pretty much stronger than you."

"No." Touma said simply and continued walking, "Natsume! Where are you?"

"There are literally dead bodies on our left and right." Ruka mentioned.

"Yeah, i noticed that." Touma kept walking, "Natsume!"

The black mist came back, and started to wrap around them.

"What IS this?" Touma asked.

"I don't know, but all i know is it's disgusting." Ruka said.

"That's quite clear." Touma shrugged.

I wonder where Whisper and Junior could be. Touma thought.

Akinori woke up on the cave floor, wondering where he is. He turned to his right and saw Whisper with Junior right beside him. Micchy was right infront of him.

"Whisper, where are we?" Akinori held his head.

"I don't know, i think this is where the yo kai is making problems." Whisper replied.

"Man, now i wish we had Ayame with us" Akinori sniffed, "I wonder what she's doing right now."

Ayame is right above her bed, straight like a board. Her left eye twitched, and then she slapped herself. Her eyes turned red and she sat up.

"Oh my. What a stiff body." A voice came from her mouth, but not hers, "This girl is lucky that she's popular. I can use that."

"Let's see what i can do here." 'Ayame' said.

Ayame walked around her room, searching through her books, electronics, looked out the window, and stuff. And she just got into a pile of books where she found a book titled 'Sakura Hime no Himitsu (桜姫の秘密)" which means Sakura Princess' Secret.
