"Maybe it's because when someone leaves, they take pieces of you with them. And that's why we hold on."

I woke up the next day, with the sunlight on my face, the chirping of the birds, the rainbows, unicorns, and the aroma of a tea.
Everything felt good.
Not.
I, in reality, woke up because of the fucking sunshine, directed towards my gorgeous eyes, in concert with the hammering ache on my head - which was presently called as the hangover - and the earsplitting, maddening noise coming from my phone.
My eyes are still shut; I struggled to look for my phone. I'm sure as hell it's on the bed because of how piercing it resonated. It roughly tore my awfully sensitive eardrum.
Newsflash!
I found my damned phone and it stopped ringing. I slowly and carefully, opened my eyes and searched through my phone. I was awfully shocked to see 50 messages from my mom alone, 10 from Lane, 2 from Max, and 67 missed calls from my mom, which meant I am going to be dead when I get back.
I automatically rose from bed, read all of her texts and found out that she is fully aware of my whereabouts last night.
