I've been here for three days. It's been three days since Frederick left and I can't seem to find a way out... Unless I use my powers, but that would automatically give away my location to the enemy.
"Listen here, dear." Oh great, the prisoner is talking- again. "What do you want, Alexander?" I questioned, irritation obvious. "I want you to get me out! You see, getting me out, means you'll be out also." "You know I cannot do that Alexander." "Oh yes you can. I know about your special powers" I sighed. "If I used them it would give away my location to the enemy- you know they have magic tracking devices." You see, Alexander used to be our governor.
Until he betrayed us.
"Don't you get it?" He asked. "Get what?" He sighed. "The war is over. Your kingdom, lost." I shot up from the old hanging bed and marched over to the bars. He was across from me. "Now, don't you dare say that!" I whisper-screamed. I do not want to give away my location. "Isn't it obvious? That man, your guard, has not come back for three days. He's obviously dead, dearie." "No! No! No he's not!" I screamed this time. Anger shot through me as I blasted through the iron bars with my fire, melting them down. I marched over to him and grabbed him by his shirt, pulling his head through the doors. Fear struck his face. "You are never to say that! I might as well leave you in here to rot."
"But I won't" relief flooded his face as I slowly melted the bars down for him. He stepped out and bowed "thank you princess." I nodded and left for the stairs. "Wait! You might not like what you find down there." I don't know what he meant by that, but I planned on finding out.
