*Alaric's Office* (Hope's pov)

"Hey Mr.Saltzman, what's up?" "Hope, this is very important and I need your help." "With what?" "A dragon," Alaric said a little unbelievable. "But dragons don't" I was cut off by Alaric, "don't exist, ya that's what I thought but there is one hovering above the school right now." "Fine, I will deal with it but send all the students into their dorms." "Hope. how are you going to deal with it?" "Just trust me, Dr.Saltzman." As I ran into my room I heard the speakers telling all the students to return to their dorms and to stay in there until further notice.

*In Hope's Room*

I quickly grabbed a death spell knowing that Alaric will bug me about it later but I didn't care right now I'm just focusing on the matter at hand. I grab the spell and run outside then jump onto the roof and see the dragon I noticed the dragon coming after me so I started saying the spell, tenebris anima vestra contundito mortem et conteret spiritum. Frange vitam nolite corde ut sub terra esse, ad tenebras usque in sempiternum a couple of times and soon everything went black. When I woke up I saw a woman she looked so helpless but I knew she was the dragon. I stepped closer a grabbed a knife I kept with me but I hesitated to stab her, then I felt a hand grab my knife and stab her I looked behind me and saw it was Alaric. He then looked at me with a disappointed face.

*Alaric's pov*

I went up on the roof to see how Hope was doing I saw how Hope was scared to kill her and the way Hope looked I figured that women were the dragon so I grabbed the knife she had and stabbed the woman. I then saw a piece of paper on the floor and looked at Hope with a disappointed face. "Hope, what is this?!" I ask her angrily. She looked at me with saddened eyes and I knew she was better than her father so I shouted at her for using black magic, I said, "Hope, you know better than this! You are not your family so stop acting like you are you're better than them, and you know it, I will not let you become your family!" I saw a tear in her eye so I let her go. "Go back to your room we will talk about this tomorrow."

*Hope's Dorm* Hopes pov

I went back to my room trying not to let my tear fall. Eventually, it did, I then looked at one of my family pictures and before I knew it more tears were falling out of my eyes. After a little while of crying, I went to sleep and started having a nightmare about my parents. "It's all your fault were dead." "If you weren't born none of this would have happened." "Your a stupid cosmic mistake."

*Alaric's pov*

A couple of hours have passed since I yelled at Hope I felt bad so I was gonna go to her room to apologize after I locked the gates. As I locked the gates I felt the ground shaking then I looked at the school and rushed inside. I ran into Josie and Lizzie's room and woke them up. "Girls, wake up!" As they both got up the school didn't stop shaking. "Lizzie, Josie, can you guys help me find the witch making the school shake?" They both quickly got out of bed and started checking on all the witches and I did the same. Soon I saw that MG was awake. "MG, come here and help us look for the witch that's shaking the school!" "Yes, sir," MG said.

MG's pov

I started checking on all the witches with my vamp speed but I couldn't find the one causing the shaking of the school. That's when I realized there was one witch I didn't check on. I vamp sped to Dr.Saltzman and said, "Dr.Saltzman it's Hope!!!" He quickly turned to me but then started running to Hope's room with the twins.
