Chapter 1

Stormi's whiskers twitched in amusement. She waited patiently as her housefolk setted down his coffee, and started reading whatever he got at the porch each morning.

She leaped up onto the table, pushing the coffee off the table.

With a loud BANG, the coffee has splashed everywhere, "STORMI!!!" her housefolk hissed loudly.

Purring in amusement, Stormi headed to the garden. She leaped up onto the fence, and landed gracefully on the sidewalk.

A familiar scent excited her, walking slowly to the red den, she walked closer and saw the brown tabby. She dropped into a crouch, and leaped onto the tom's twitching tail.

"Stormi! You scared me." He purred.
"Hello Falcon," she purred in amusement, "we should join Everest and Cloudjumper today."

"Woah, you guys are gonna explore that creepy forest again?"

"Yeah, that place is amazing! You wanna come?"

"I don't think so..." Falcon blushed.

"Come ON scaredy cat! Are you a real cat or not? Im starting to think that your a mouse." She teased.

"I'm NOT!" he hissed, "Fine! I will come with you."

"Thats my boy." She purred.

They sprinted along the sidewalk, then turned to the park.

They then dashed to the Greatpine, joining the group of cats.

"Everest!" Stormi called happily, dashing towards her sister.

"Hey sis! How ya doin'?" Everest purred as she nuzzled her sister."Dark and Tornado said they wanted to join us too!"

"Awesome! Let's go then?"

"Let's go before some idiot calls animal control on us again," Dark snapped,"Last time they nearly got Jet."

"Okay okay. Seriously, you gotta CHILL bro." Cloudjumper teased.

Dark grunted and started padding towards the forest.

"Is he always THIS bad tempered?" Stormi hissed in Cloudjumper's ear.

"He was a sweet guy before," Cloudjumper mewed,"but everything changed ever since his old housefolk abandomed him and gave him to my housefolk."

Stormi opened her mouth to object, but she kept her mouth shut.
