I started to walk home when a group of people came up to me

"So you're dating that Ava chick?" One of them said

"Ummm yeah I am..." I replied

"Well back off because I have my eyes on her" he said

"I'm not just going to fucking leave her!" I replied angrily

"Well then you better watch you're back" he said and they walked away

I was so sacred

I didn't know what to do

Should I tell my mum?

I need to warn Ava

I ran home

Not knowing what to do

I texted Ava and explained everything that happened

She asked if I was gonna leave her

I replied with no we're staying together for as long as we can

My mum must've noticed I was worried because she asked me

"Hey hun you okay?"

"To be honest mum in not" I said

"What's the matter?" She asked

"These kids are trying to make me and Ava break up and I don't want that" I said

"Brayden you have to ignore them, they're jealous because you have a beautiful girlfriend and they don't" she smiled

"So we should ignore them?" I asked

"Yes, if they bother you just keep walking" she replied

"Thanks mum, I'm gonna head to bed and sleep this off" I said before walking upstairs

I flopped onto my bed and slowly fell into a deep sleep

The next morning I was woken by a lot of texts from Ava

I read some of them and it got me worried

I jumped up and called her but no one answered
