Chapter 5 - Meeting Her and Some Information

Y/N: "Overworld, what kind of enemies would be in there?"

Y/N: "Before I start this dungeon I will talk with Gaia about that girl, maybe she knows something about her."

So I went to her room and knocked at the door, a few seconds pass before she opens it, greeting me with a smile.

Gaia: "Yes? Need anything Y/N?"

Y/N: "Yes, there is this mysterious girl that appeared and she's definitely not from this universe, so I wanted to ask if you have anything to do with it."

Gaia: "A girl, no I don't think so... Actually, you are not the first person to receive the gamer power, so she might be one of them."

Y/N: "Wait, you're saying that there are more gamers like me across the universes!?"

Gaia: "Yes, but most of them are in just one universe and can't travel to the other, also each universe has more than one version of it, so you might not meet everyone."

Y/N: 'so she is a gamer I guess that explains a lot, but still why would she attack Ryuko, maybe she wants to be more like a villain, I need to find out her intentions'  "Alright, thanks Gaia."

Gaia: "You're welcome, any time you want something just knock."

With that information I decided to find her, so I went to the world and started walking around the place until I got that feeling of being watched again. After a long time of walking the feeling is finally here, so I focus my mind to discover where it's coming from without her noticing, and then something surprised me.

With a little more focus I now know where she is thanks to this new skill so I go into an alley, hide and wait for her to show up, when she did I tackled her to the ground.

Y/N: "Well well well if it isn't the one who attacked Ryuko before."

Girl: "What!? How did you know I was following you?"

Y/N: "A little skill of mine, now tell me why did you attack before?"

Girl: "Let me go and I'll explain it."

Y/N: "I don't think so, can't have you trying anything funny on me now, can I."

Girl: "I see, you are quite cautious, can't blame you though."

Y/N: "I know you have the power of the gamer too, so I can't risk it."

Girl: "Alright, I wanted to test you."

Y/N: "Test me?"

Girl: "Yes, you're the first gamer I've seen so I wanted to see if you were prepared for something that doesn't belong to this universe, so don't worry I'm not your enemy."

Y/N: "I see, alright I believe you, what's your name."

I get off of her and help her get up.

Skye: "Skye Rose, and yours?"

Y/N: "Y/N L/N. Well, I take it that you travel through universes, since you said I'm the first gamer you've seen, this is my first universe, but I will travel through various universes too."

Skye: "You have good deduction skills, yes i can travel through universes it was the power that I chose at the start, did you choose that too?"

She apparently drops her mysterious acting and is now pretty cheerful, I think we'll get along well.

Y/N: "Actually no, I chose the power to materialize things from movies, games, animes, and others."

Skye: "That's so cool, can you materialize anything?"

Y/N: "Yes, at the cost of my mana and mana recharge."

Skye: "I see, anyway what level are you on right now?"

Y/N: "Just level eight and you?"

Skye: "Well since the stats reset each new universe, I'm still level six."

Y/N: "Oh, it resets? Well I guess it makes sense otherwise it would be way overpowered."

Skye: "Yeah, and it's more fun this way, plus there is an experience boost for forty eight hours after the reset."

Y/N: "Wait, you said that you wanted to see if I was prepared for things that don't belong to this universe, why would I need to be prepared for something like that?"

Skye: "In some universes I have fought this guy who wanted to destroy the universe I was in, so I wanted to see if you were prepared in case he shows up."

Y/N: "I guess we should be prepared then, well this time he will have a surprise as there will be two people for him to fight."

Skye: "That's the spirit! Oh I wanted to ask you, do you have a place to stay? I'm not a big fan of just wandering around the city."

Y/N: "Yeah I do, Gaia gave me a house, I mean it's more like a mansion, but yeah."

Skye: "Gaia?"

Y/N: "Oh you don't know Gaia? She is the goddess that gave us the power, she also lives in the mansion."

Skye: "Wait, you live with a goddess?!"

Y/N: "Yeah, it took some time to process it when she told me. Well let's go there now. Ghost."

Ghost: "Yes, Y/N, hello, Skye."

Skye: "You have a ghost?!"

Y/N: "Yes, still thinking of a name for him. Ghost can you teleport both of us to the mansion?"

Ghost: "Yes, I can teleport up to three people at once."

Y/N: "Great, let's go then."

While she was still trying to process it all we got teleported to the mansion and Gaia was there in the kitchen apparently cooking something.
